Oooo, I like the vibe. I liked figuring out what each block's purpose was. If you plan on expanding upon this concept, I think it has lots of potential. Awesome job! :)

How does your game fit the theme?
The game alternates between two phases. In the first phase you control the descent of MASSIVE blocks, strategically BUILDING a path. In the second phase, the game turns into a platformer where you control a SMALL character who must SCALE the blocks you've placed.

Nice interpretation of the theme, and I'm a sucker for Eldritch fun! Great job!
Underrated.

Pure Puzzle Gaming Excellence.
Beautiful.
I love this game, it looks great, sounds great and throws you straight into the action :) Once I got the hang of what the blocks were I had a really good time, might have been better as an in game menu because I couldn't figure out how to pause haha, but very minor thing, its a really great piece of work :)
Initially, I considered that option. However, I believe it might have become a bit too mentally and mechanically complex, risking frustration. I prefer the dynamic nature of alternating between puzzle and platforming; it feels like a more engaging and balanced gameplay loop.
But if I continue the development after the jam, I'll definitely experiment with different modes. 😁
Really nice idea, playing puzzle block with the character in the middle is very novel, a better version of that one Mega Man X6 level, only complaint is that sometimes the blocks get stuck on each other sides, but overall really good.
very unique idea and challenging gameplay! i loved the alternating phases
The art looks really pretty and the premise is really interesting. The movement could be a little snappier.
wow, dude, this is awesome for a solo development in 4 days! I like the idea, maybe you should have made the crash instant, or so that you could hold down the S key. But the art, the idea, the music, everything is great! Well done!
Love the art style! I think I would have preferred twice as many smaller blocks to place instead of the big ones? It felt like having to wall jump up was the only thing you could do if that makes sense.
Great work!
I had considered adding several types of blocks, some smaller or with different shapes, but in the end, I had to stick with the ones I could get to work properly within the time I had.
However, I like the idea that if I decide to continue developing the game after the jam, there’s still plenty of room for experimentation!
Oh wow this is EXACTLY up my lane. As a massive platformer and Tetris fan, I've long wished for a game that combined those elements. I'm going to lose many hours to this, I'm sure.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Initially, I had included a legend within the game, but it took up too much screen space and caused visual clutter.
I didn't have enough time to create a cleaner tutorial or hints system since I also had to work on the art, so I decided to use a "How to Play" section on the game's page instead.
However, once the jam is over, I can create an update to improve this aspect of the game! Thank's for the feedback!
This game is incredible! The art and sound is immaculate. Color palette perfectly captures that Axiom Verge / Metroid aesthetic. Felt very Lovecraftian-yet sci-fi. Block variations were super clever and I also enjoyed that you didn't really tell me what each block did. Failure was actually an interesting concept of learning the game.
Think my only nitpick that I could think of is just the goal for the player. I feel like just getting a high score just doesn't work for a game like this. Would've honestly preferred if the player was going up to escape something and using Tetris as a way to build that path up. Wasn't sure if the game had an end goal but any would've made playing more impactful. Allows for more of a narrative too which I feel like this game could leverage with the unique style in the art.
Again, nitpicking, the game is awesome!
love this pixel art, the gameplay is neat!!!! the only bad part im not very good at it xD
This was sick! I love Fleshy Tetris. Very unique, definitely took a few attempts to figure out strategy, but the variety of blocks kept me engaged. Still don't know what that brain-looking one does though. Quite punishing, could have maybe done with shorter rounds or an easier first few stages. Lovely art, very intelligent concept :)
