Cute game. Love how you added new mechanics so it isn't just plain old snake. The provoke and hide mechanic along with movement slowing as you collect mice work really well together, very smart game design. Like other people say the endgame basically just comes down to waiting for the mice to spawn close to you. You could either decrease the move penalty a little or add a way to drop off or deposit mice to get some of your speed back for an example. Presentation was clean. Good job!

How does your game fit the theme?
Based off Retro Snake. In this game instead of playing the Snake you play as the 'Food' which in this game is a Mice. It's also a nod to prey (mice) vs predator (snake), despite being a prey the mice tries to win against the snake.

Cute game, nice presentation. I like the 3D graphics. Really like the hide/provoke mechanic and slowing down as you rescue mice. The last 2 mice feel pretty RNG heavy, where you basically just have to hope they spawn nicely for you. Of course for a quicker game like this, it's not necessary bad that it's tough to win. Nice work!
Very charming game with good presentantion and creativity, honestly, this makes snake way more tense. The early and midgame were very fun, and woth balancing hiding and provoking. I did feel that by the end it was a little too hard for me. Still great work!

I enjoyed it! I like how you start to get slower when holding more mice. The obstacles placed allowed for strategic plays like luring the snake one way, and going the other. The snappy movement feels good too. Good job!

One of the most creative spins on snake I have seen in this jam yet. Has very intuitive controls, something a lot of jam games struggle with! Great Job!
A great take on the reverse snake idea! I love the strategic uses of the provoke/hide ability and the fact that it alternates creates an interesting ebb and flow to the gameplay. I also like the clean and clear presentation. It's maybe a bit too difficult, but otherwise great game! :)

Glad you like the provoke/hide I wanted to add something on top of the regular snake.
Your games teleport mechanic is also something unique which I would've love to add it as another skill if I thought about it and had more time!
After trying out so many snake games in this Gamejam, I'm still able to find new ideas.
Very addicting game! Took me couple of tries but I just had to finish it. The provoke/hide mechanic added some extra strategy, as well as deciding which mice are or aren't worth saving.
