Nice relaxation game :). I especially liked the forests that grow by themselves to foil your plans xD.

Reminded me very much of Dorfromantik :)

A bit after the forests start I don't get a new house after I finish the last one. (The counter resets, so I definitly finished it).  Other than that, the game is super fun, especially as an avid player of Carcassonne.

Connecting all of the houses together with roads was pretty interesting and all of the new tiles introduced throughout the run of the game make it really even more so. I think the randomness of the tiles you get kinda hampers progress and it gets frustrating getting like 5 horizontal roads in a row. Overall really and interesting concept!

I liked the addition of the forests! A zoom in/out function would be nice, but it was workable without it. Good take on the theme!

it's like if you turned that one board game with a meeples into a timed video game. forgot what it was called

anyway, my main issue with this game is that there's like no checks put in place to make the randomness fair. often times i would get like 10 of the same corner piece in a row making it impossible to actually place anything and the forests and cottages would spawn in illegal locations (right next to an open path etc.)

game also gets a gigantic difficulty spike once forests are introduced so if you were to give this another go i'd suggest easing into that a little easier and not introduce them the same time as the three and four way intersections?

also a nice convenience feature would be a zoom in / out cause the camera is way too close as is for the later rounds lol (perhaps make it gradually show more and more as the range that the placed tiles take up gets larger?)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Carcassonne was very much an inspiration.   I definitely agree with all of your points.  A tetris style "grab bag" that ensures equal piece distribution would've been much better.   Zoom is another great suggestion!  I didn't figure out what I was really trying to make until pretty close to the end of the jam, so the balance and UX suffered.  If I give it another go, I'll rewrite it from scratch with these ideas implemented at the core.

Thanks again and have a great day!

The gameplay is simple, yet effective in engaging the player, and does a good job corresponding with the theme, while also proving to be a relaxing, but fun experience. Keep up the good work!
