How does your game fit the theme?
You're a space detective. Your job is to take disconnected photos that are joined together and connect the dots to catch the thief ! If you finish the few levels, you can then create your own, and send them to others ! (Please give me your levels, I'd love to see some)
Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?
No
We used pre-existing art

Great job! some really cool and unique ideas, lets get u to 20 review :D
I think I know where you were going with the idea. It's a little bit tough to get into.
You had some really good ideas, I think with a little more time and a simpler entry-tutorial it would have been a bit easier to get into it.
Nonetheless, you made a game, and a level editor, in 48h!!
Congrats on submitting!
Super original! I would have liked having a few screenshots showing me some clear objectives or an in game tutorial or some way to give me a little more info to help me out. While I really like that you made a level editor, I think a stronger intro/tutorial section may have been more impactful for me personally. But you had some REALLY original ideas and I hope you're proud of what you made!
The idea is very unique for a game jam. But I'm afraid I simply could not figure out what was going on, despite your hints and description. The colors seem meaningless. I would recommend having an example so clear that you basically show the player the solution but also how to arrive at the solution. I ended up clicking randomly on different answers and even while knowing the right answer I couldn't figure out how one arrives at that answer. Sorry for the harsh feedback. I'm hoping to be helpful as an example of someone who didn't figure it out and why I didn't. I love that you did a voice over in the beginning! That's a nice touch!
Very interesting idea. I liked the voice over the text, I think it nicely fits the game. I managed to solve the first two puzzles but the third one was really hard. Maybe it would be good to add some tutorial level. But overall nice game.
Thank you very much! Yeah it seems like many people struggled with the third level. I'll definitely address this in the future. Thank you for playing !
Okay, this is cryptic, maybe too much. I had to read the description to understand exactly what my objective was and how to understand the clues. These info needs to be in the game somehow. Also, even with that I felt like I still don't really understand. Are the colored arrows really connected to colored aliens?
The idea is nice and could be expanded, but as it is, it feels very complicated and lacked amusement and accomplishment feelings.
Yep, unfortunately I didn't have time to put in all the dialog. So I wrote a description, but in the future both the explanations and the congratulations will be added as a dialog (already recorded them, but I had a bug and didn't want to endanger the game 2 hours before release). Thanks for your feedback
This was pretty cool! I like t, though I could not figure out the level editor, yet it was fun. Great job!!
Thanks for playing it ! Yeah the level editor works but it's definitely not fun yet
Very interesting idea! I managed to solve the first two puzzles, but I couldn't solve the third so I just guessed... A tutorial would be appreciated. I don't think the level editor really fits a jam, that's the type of stuff you would create post jam. I also didn't expect an actual voice over of the text, but I liked it. Well done overall!
Thank you! I was happy to have 'infinite potential', but it's true that it took the time some helpful dialog might have used.
I haven't seen this idea before! The voice overs were a fairly unique touch and I found them to be kinda funny. There wasn't that much instruction so it was hard to discern what happened, but I managed to figure it out and solve the first two levels! (The third was really hard though haha). I think a little tutorial level or two with just one or two guys and a few arrows could be really beneficial to explain the mechanics without giving the player a wall of text! Really good work and great creativity!
Thanks a lot for the constructive feedback! I'm definitely going to add much needed dialog and I'll look into making the first level easier.
This was an awesome and unique take on the theme! It was a who-done-it space mystery game, and I adore that. The voice over at the start of each level was great, I really felt for the clueless astronaut you had no choice but to help time and time again. Maybe one day they'll actually lock everything up nice and secure. I struggled a bit with the puzzles, I understood the concept of the arrows but I wasn't sure which one always corresponded to what alien. The two green ones definitely tripped me up a bit. I did figure out the second puzzle, but I wasn't confident with my guesses on the first and third. Might have just been a me problem though! Overall, really clever idea, I would love to see more of it. Definitely a game being slept on over here, I'm happy to have had the chance to play it. Good job!
Wow, your comment is almost more in-depth than my whole game. Thanks a lot, for the compliments as well as what can be improved !
Cryptic Space Clue! It melted my brain a little, not gonna lie, especially that last level. But I nailed the first two with no problem. A little more instruction would've gone a long way, I feel, but your game page said you ran out of time, which is understandable. Still, definitely a hidden gem.
Thank you for the nice words, and for noticing my game in the discord !
First to comment here, I feel very special. Very unique idea for a game.
Ahah I've been so lonely :') Thank you !
