q & e change what you fire (head/arm/leg) and they do different stuff. once i worked that out, it was pretty damn fun.
This game was a bit janky but I enjoyed it very much. There were some confusing choices like AD and also arrow keys for movement, but only W jumped and not up arrow. The sprite also bugged out a bit when following the arm. I can see where it's going and it could be great. Just needs a bit of work. Well done
HAH! Thanks for letting us know about the up arrow, total oversight.
The controls are rather frustrating, and I only cleared that massive lava section because you can spam left click after throwing your hand to fly towards it while it still hasn't collided with a wall. The game could use more instructions on how mechanics work, and maybe a suggestion of what tool works the best for an obstacle. Was sad to see the level design turn into jumping over the boxes over and over, consider making more levels and refining the controls! We'd love to play it
Solid presentation. I like look and sound of the game, but I had a lot of trouble getting over the first obstetrical. I wasn't sure what all of the abilities did so I had to test each one out which isn't necessarily an issue if all of the abilities work smoothly. The hand cannon doesn't track with the mouse, it lands about 20 pixels below. The head...I'm not sure what that does. And the leg doesn't always fire. There's no indicator that I need to jump to get it to work but that's not the only factor. I have to aim toward a wall and sometimes it still doesn't fire -- all of that I have to figure out without any context. Super Metroid handled this really well by having creatures showcase obscure abilities to help clue the player in without directly saying "hey you can do this", ya know? I also didn't get a sense of why I was in the lab in the first place, stowed in this corner behind this catwalk that I have to detach my leg to get up. Don't let all that discourage you though. There's definitely a game here, the game play is just a bit rough, it just needs a little polish.
I love the art style but the controls make me puzzled.
Cotrols are confusing, and there's a lot of input lag. Visuals are good though.
Nice visuals. I got a little confused with the gameplay, but I like your interpretation of the theme. Cool concept!
Finished it! After reading the instructions I got through, the "fly" to your hand was not as obvious to me at least. Good job
I really like the concept and the cute little robot. I enjoyed following my hand at mark-10 I'm glad you made world accommodate my need for speed.
I like the artstyle, but I wasn't really sure what to do. the controls are confusing, but there's definitely promise!
We just updated the game description with the controls, give it another shot if you like!
Thank you! It's still a bit janky, but a fun game with good ideas!
Enjoyed what i played and thought the art was nice! I agree that a tutorial would have been helpful, but this jams was short I totally get it. Good work!
Hi, there was a tutorial but we had to remove it because it broke in the last hour :(
The controls are in the description now and it explains how the game works, its a good enough replacement I guess
Cool concept, this game could probably benefit from a tutorial since it's a bit hard to figure out what to do
