This is a fun concept, I love how unwieldy all the spaceships look (kinda reminds me of the board game Galaxy Truckers in that way). I do wish is that it were more obvious what each of the blocks do, the help screen describes some of them but there are others that don't match anything on the help screen. Also the process of connecting a free floating piece to one's ship seems like it could use some ironing out. It was pretty common that a piece that appeared to be connected to multiple points on my ship would turn out to be just connected to one, or I would find it impossible to attach a piece to my ship, or a piece would attach diagonally (off-grid) to my ship.

Nice game, I really enjoyed it!
Just a few comments:
1) Attaching new modules feels weird (I'm not sure why, sorry hah)
2) The warning signs are GREAT but sometimes they appear on the wrong position.
3) I had an enemy spawned behind some asteroid belt, so he was unable to chase me but he keep firing in my direction.
Overall is a great submission, congrats!
Really polished game! Very satisfying destroying the enemy's core module and watching all the other parts float about. Great job!
Really cool idea, fun to play, but would definitely benefit from more polish on the interactions - specifically I found joining new parts especially tedious, sometimes repeatedly bumping into the pieces without managing to catch them.
Also in the end I ran into an enemy core I just couldn't kill - I shot everything around it down, but the core itself just wouldn't die :/
Reminds me of Captain Forever. Also I such in both. :)
Nicely done in such a short time!
Very interesting concept with the power ups you get on the go by destroying the other ships and stealing their cannons. Good job, well done!
Great game. The take a spachipshooter but add the concept of taking your dead uponents parts is great. What could have been improved is more parts(which you might wanted but didnt have the time and that i understand) and to improve how the parts connected.
I'd love to see you turn this into a galaxy-hopping exploration game like "Heat Signature", the base mechanics are really fun and I can tell with a bit of polish they'll make for an intriguing full game. I had a hard time in the beginning with enemies running away, it'd be a nice quality of life change to have the first few ships you encounter have their engines pointed toward your ship so the difficulty curve is lessened a bit.
This is definitely one of the better games I've played in the jam so far! I absolutely love your interpretation of the theme, very original idea. It was confusing at first to figure out what was happening, and I didn't realize that you could pick up floating parts until much later in the game. Once I figured that out it was quite cool! Art style is a bit all of the place with the pixel sizes, but really great work for a 48 hour jam. :) It'd be cool to see this expanded upon!
Ok I really really like this game concept. I found it hard to connect the modules together, but the gameplay overall was very smooth and polished. The combat was pretty cool too. Awesome job!
Really nice game nice graphics and interseting mechanics !
But I think it will be even more cool with a scoring system to have a goal ! ;)
