How does your game fit the theme?
Joined at the Ship requires the player to connect their ship to various connection points to maneuver through a level. Additionally, the player’s ship is able to attach items to itself to give additional movement options. In this way, the act of joining together the ship and environment makes up the core of the game.

I like the music. Good choice. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. What's my goal? I know I can swing on stuff but I just don't know why I'm here. I wasn't sure what I was at first or even what I could or could not interact with. The subtlety of matching the character's color to the rings was a nice touch but a little too subtle. Also, it's possible for the player to get stuck. I made it to the end of the first hall and landed on a ledge but there were no rings to shoot at. I know that's why there's a reset button but that brings me all the way back and it was a chore to get as far as I did. I feel like this one needs a little more fleshing out.
Thanks! Yeah it could use a lot more explaining and tuning. The goal is to progress to the end of the level by swinging and attaching objects to yourself. One problem is our camera is too zoomed in and the level too spaced out to see some things. One thing you must have missed at the spot you got stuck were a bunch of balloons to your right (the camera was too zoomed in to see). If you click on these you can attach them to yourself so you can float. Later on there are more objects you can attach to yourself that weigh you down or let you propel yourself.
More tutorial text and some tuning of the level and camera would certainly help. Thanks for the feedback!
damn, i couldnt get the game to load on any browser, consider adding download links too
Sadly we can't add anything until the jam is over. Sorry about that :/
Great concept, the controls are a bit fiddly tho. The soundtrack is great!
Thank you! Yeah it turned out harder to target the hooks then we expected. Maybe we can update it after the jam is over.
Nice art and concept, the ship building mechanic is a really good idea !
Thank you! I wish we'd gotten more of a chance to explore it. Sadly time ran out.
I love the concept and the art reminds me of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas
keen to see how the game can evolve!
Thank you! Yeah I can definitely see that. We were going for a Steampunk vibe, which is certainly similar to the themes of Jules Verne.
I liked the art and the choice of music was great. I wouldn't guess that this was made in 48 hours if it wasnt part of this jam!
Thank you so much! That's high praise.
Original idea. I like the movement. But above all I like the music. It fits this game perfectly.
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I don’t even know what to say, to be honest, it’s just great art and gameplay! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
Thank you so much! I will.
"What a dashing feat of daring do!"
What an interesting system. Very polished!
Thank you!
This game has a very interesting movement system!
Thank you! It was a lot of fun for us to design too.
This was so much fun to play! Seriously well done :D I love the design for the boat :0
Thanks! Glad it was fun to play!
Replayed it about five times because I just had to explore the whole map! Well done!
Wow that's awesome! Glad you enjoyed exploring :D
Yeah! Grappling hook mechanics are always fun, but when I found a way to
grab the fans from outside the easy pathit opened up the whole map! If you wind up expanding the game once voting's over, I'll have to come explore some more :DAwesome, so you took the path along the bottom of the level? Did you end up using the right-click arm to hold yourself steady while you grabbed the fans?
Yep! I found that right-clicking to steady myself while I made my way across helped a ton too
Nice. Yeah we found the same.
