I couldn't move for some reason. Then I read in the comments that you had to click the characters you wanted first. It's neat you made it as a couple.
Yeah, as soon as people started playing it I realized I should've implemented that differently, lol.
Don't feel too bad. I didn't get any test playing in before submitting so YOLO lol
fun concept, and so cool that you made it as a couple! my daughter enjoyed playing through!
Thanks for playing it! Really enjoyed watching y'all play through it :)
Cute idea.
cool little game.
carrot was kinda useless after the first level :(
Yeah, after the jam is over we'll be building some more levels and giving carrot more places to shine. Thanks for playing!
Great work. Once I figured out that you need to click the character you want it was really fun and super cute.
Thanks so much Vimlark! It was awesome seeing you play it on stream! :D
Took a minute to figure out that I needed to click on which character to use. The pick any two mechanic is good, but would be better if there were a few more to choose from - this concept could potentially allow you to beat the levels in different ways, which could be fun.
Presentation wise, try to match the pixel density of the canvas to avoid the blurry text. Also see if next time you could avoid adding buttons on the home screen for levels that aren't there yet, this game didn't really need a home screen :)
Good job
I was starting the jam with a buddy to work with but he came down sick a couple hours in, so I wound up with a bit more than I could handle on my own. Specifically, I'd had more levels, scrapped them on account of a bug and failed to get them back in once I figured out the problem. Ah well, lol.
And thanks for the response! It was my first time even really attempting to put out a game, so I'm pretty happy with what I was able to accomplish.
Does not seem to work properly :( Pressing A or D but nothing moves! Am I doing it wrong?
Ah, that's one of two things: the tomato doesn't really move unless you're in the air, or just a bug that I didn't manage to iron out in time :/
Good job either way!
