How does your game fit the theme?
We intended to have a sanity system, in which you would lose more and more control over your character as he learned more, but due to time restraints we didn't do it. You still lose control over your character at the end of the game.

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing audio

I really enjoyed playing this. The art and atmosphere of the island got me proper spooked and curious about the island although I struggled and unfortunately didn't manage to solve everything.

I'm not very good with English, but i liked it. It's an interesting spin on a detective genre. Unfortunatly I couldn't get to the end. But you did a very good job!

Certainly looks interesting and a brave take on the theme! I initially would have liked buttons instead of writing more but I actually like it since it disables the ability to just easily click through all the buttons and eventually find the right answer and also makes it more immersive.

As soon as I saw the name of the game, I knew I had  to play it. :) I really liked how different it was to the other games and it's a very clever take on the theme. Could have done with some proof-reading but otherwise I quite enjoyed the game (although  I couldn't figure out what the 3 evidences were for "Godlike creature" etc [presuming that's the actual revelation!]). Please make this into a proper game for all us Lovecraft fans, because let's remember: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn..."

Alot of the text that needs proof reading was added last second, as we were running out of time. Read the translation notes again, note that its translating the word wall. That should help.

I absolutely loved playing through this! Was really genuinely creepy too, great use of Lovecraftian writing and really immersing the player. I wasn't able to finish it! I couldn't figure out how to prove the godlike creature resides here. I'm looking forward to going back to it and seeing the end of the story though!

Thanks! I would want until it was more finished and polished to go back to it. However, as a hint, read the translation notes again, and note its translating the word wall.

cool, looking forward to playing a polished version!

Ive played this game for longer than any others so far. I love how you force us to think and investigate and I love how there's a story waiting to be discovered.  Wonderful job!!

This is a cool version of lovecraft in a videogame, not just cthulhu smashing everything to bits. Have you thought about using buttons instead of text since there's already a panel of possible entries?

there's an intimacy associated with keying in your thoughts into the console ^_^

can't fault that ^^

Upload screenshots/description!!! This is a nice game. Don't be lazy with the game page! This could be a winner.

I like how the input isn't case sensitive and let's me ramble in the console. It needs a shortcut option though; typing in full gets repetitive. A kind of "chat-log" for players to share amongst themselves would be nice. I love games like this (and Cthulhu lore is cool!)
