How does your game fit the theme?
The player is in control of the main character, but are they really? In this game, you can't force the character to kill people against their will. Then be smart about how you'll use your gun!

That was very interesting game!

At first I was able to somehow just dodge around the people and yoink that emerald, then I realized that I could shoot the walls but not the people, and at that moment it has opened up to more strats that you can pull off & the game has gotten far more interesting because of it.

I think the fact that the emerald stays at the same spot can be improved by doing what the others have said; by making the emerald spawn in the random locations. If you take that idea and go further and maybe procedurally generate the levels plus do some balance & gameplay adjustments, then I think this can potentially turn into some sort of fun procedurally-generated-roguelite-heist simulator! I can smell the potench' from that aspects of this entry.

Overally, it was quite interesting idea and I can see some potentials for making this into a full game.

Really interesting idea but i agree with tricky fat cat, changing the emerald position would be nice to give some replayability. Something else that could help would be to make ammunitions limited, right now the game is quite easy if you spam while walking next to a wall. Having to manage your ammunitions, or maybe have a greater cooldown or maybe even scaring could have less and less effect on people would improve that

Yes yes yes and yes, that exactly what I had in mind ahah. Sorry I couldn't deliver all of this in time 😅.

Tho, I thought about some people not being scared by shots and others being alerted from your shots, but I never thought of "scaring could have less and less effect on people" thanks for the suggestion. And moreover, thanks for trying my game writing such a detailed feedback!

The core idea is interesting, but gameplay-wise it's it could be funnier, additionally, it's hard to understand in-game why people start following me and trying to catch. Additionally, it would be better, if the level had a simple procedural generation, like different spots for the emerald and cameras. Anyway, well done.

The game had to be rushed like crazy. I agree with all of what you said, since it was planned... Thanks for the feedback :D

A cool little Idea! A bit rough around the edges, but that's normal during a jam. I didn't realize I could shoot until I finished the game once. I like the concept of your character being the one out of control.

Well done!

A pretty neat little game, Tim! I like the concept, and the crowds are definitely suitably overwhelming to deal with, I mainly won just by finding a lucky gap after firing a few warning shots to get folks off my back. Me being me, felt horrible about it. Nice work! :D

Gem Heist! It gets crazy when someone spots you, everybody tries to swarm you. Nice swarm and detection AI :D
