After a certain point, I completely trapped the flood and nothing else happened for a while. It'd be nice to add new spawn points for floods around the area after a certain amount of time. Very cool game concept though.
The controls felt unresponsive at times but this is actually a very unique concept. It requires the player to make some smart, long term decisions. Very promising.
I've just watched a documentary about tsunami in Japan, so being able to try and prevent a similar occasion in a game felt interesting, to say the least. I feel like the game could be a bit more fast-paced though, but it may be because of timer issues with browser version you mentioned.
I liked the idea alot. I wasn't quite sure when I was allowed to place walls. Good job though!
Yeah, I wish we'd had time to make that more clear. If we'd had another couple of hours it probably would have felt much more polished, but sadly, we did not. Thanks for the feedback!
Unfortunately, I suddenly couldn't place more walls :( The retro style and the music was nice!
Oh no! Because browsers mess with the timers in the game, and you can only place walls once per second (its a timer) it may have been messed up by that.
I love the concept, I'm just confused a bit on the mechanics. I completely covered the flood with walls and it still kept coming, do I need to place more behind? If you guys keep working on this please add procgen :)
I actually just checked with Wolfie (who did the sound). Turns out we used no prexisting audio. (If this comment could stay at the top with your likes so people read it that would be great, thanks) EDIT: Fixed it!
I think you can still edit the submission from the rating page to change your selection
Thanks for telling me that! I've changed it now.
