Cool puzzle mechanic, but the behaviour of the zombies is a bit difficult to read, especially in later stages. some more polishing and this can become a real cool mobile game.
Are those the creepers from minecraft? :D
Here's again the link to our game. We would love to hear your feedback on this: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462544
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, coding how to get the zombies to move around rocks sensibly and explode at the right time was a bit of a nightmare and there's definitely more work to be done there.
Uuuuh, sure they're creepers. They're definitely not some vaguely zombie looking thing I scribbled in 5mins haha
I'll give your game a go now :D
really cool puzzle game concept. well done!
This, polished and with more levels, would make a great mobile game.
Really interesting concept. Only having one move makes me have to think harder. Well done :). I like the style of the art used. Was really fun and made me want to see what other levels could be done.
This is great! I really wanted to play more levels - good job!
This was really fun!
The concept behind the game was interesting and it felt well implemented here.
The art style also felt well made and polished (by the standards of a game-jam).
If i were to have any constructive criticism, i encountered what i think is a bug where two zombies would infinitely circle each other on the 4th (i think level).
But apart from that, great game!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
I'm aware of the bug with the zombies getting stuck. Programming their AI was tougher than expected so I once they could handle most situations I figured it would have to do for the jam. When I happened upon that level layout just kind of decided it would be a feature instead and added a timer that would end the level if they got stuck for too long!
