I think the twist of riding the arrow would have been better if suggested to the player in some way! <3
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Had some ideas on how to achieve this, but in the end I ran out of time!
Well executed concept - just like others are saying, it was really satisfying to solve the puzzle of getting across the gap - it took some time to get used to the controls, but wasn't a deal-breaker of course. Overall I liked it!
thank you for playing, glad it was enjoyable!
Cool game that took me a while to figure out. To bad there was only one level though would have liked to see more. Again really cool game.
Thanks for playing my game as well.
thanks for playing!
I gave up thinking there was no way, no way whatsoever I could get across that gap. Then I read the comments... What a fool I was
Thanks for playing, hope it wasn't too frustrating!
really satisfying to figure this one out
thank you for playing!
Oh man I was really really excited by this concept! I think I'm in the majority when I say WE NEED MORE! The idea was great and finally figuring out how to get to the end was really satisfying. I'd love to see more of this game.
I like that it wasn't fully explained that you could (SPOILERS) ride the arrow. Figuring that out felt really really good. Great job!
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it!
I guess I shouldn't underestimate the impact of letting the user figure things out at their own pace!
Would have loved to add more content, sometimes time just slips away, but maybe I can update it as a learning exercise!
loved figuring out how to move to the end, a puzzle game with this mechanic would be pretty cool!
Thanks for playing!
Took some time before I understood how I was supposed to get to the door, but was fun once i figured it out. Would be interesting to see some more levels.
Thanks for playing! Was hoping to spend some more time fleshing out the mechanics and building more levels, but in the end I ran out of time :)
Very nice concept, art and animation. It was hard to figure out all the mechanics at once (controls, jumping on arrows, speed of the arrows, picking the lock), but it wasn't too much of a problem given there were no enemies trying to kill me or anything. I enjoyed it!
thanks for trying it out! Yes, I think I could have focused more on explaining the mechanics to the player :)
This is a nice prototype for a game! At first, I didn't get that you could jump off arrows, and control is a bit of an awkward fire button. Why not make the up arrow the jump button, and have space be the shooting button? Anyway, I enjoyed my time in the game, and the mechanics were solid.
thanks for playing! That's probably a better idea with the buttons remapped, didn't think of that :) will keep it in mind!
