Our protagonist was curious about the "silence ritual" that he heard from his friends, known as a ritual where ghostly voices are heard in the darkness, the lights must be kept burning to silence the voices, otherwise he will have to accompany the voices for the rest of eternity or at best, get insane. He jokingly decided to do this ritual, but far from being what he expected, it was real, and now his life was in danger

This has a very unique concept, it's really fun, although i was a bit confused near the end, because the counter came down to zero, but it just said try again, or exit. Maybe that means i won? anyway really nice cool game :D

Congrats for finishing! Interesting premise with the "silence ritual". I got a bit sick from the high mouse sensitivity turning the camera though - or was it just the ritual affecting me?

Developer

you discovered the secret of the mouse xD,  thanks for the review!

Interesting concept! I think the balance could be tweaked a bit, I ran through with minimal error, only really flicking on the lighter when I was by the switch and then turning it off, but I still ran out with ~20 seconds to go.

I'm a little torn in regards to the way the levels have been built, on the one hand the small entryways to navigate, and abundance of furniture make it necessary to be able to see where you're going, but it's also a little frustrating always getting stuck running into walls, etc.

Also, as mentioned below, the mouse sensitivity is incredibly high by default, I had to really lower my mouse settings to make this playable.

the sensitivity of the mouse is because of the fear he feels because he can die :$ and the amount of gas in the lighter is because he is a smoker, ok no, but you're right, but I'll leave it that way because I want to know how I'm doing with my job that I can do in a couple of hours, after all it's my first jam solo xD, thanks for the review

Scary stuff! My character moved too fast for me to hit the lights correctly, always ran out of gas on my light

Developer

yeah, you're right,  I guess that's it because i set the raycast distance very short or i put the collider a little small,  thank you for your review!
