I like that you explored 3 different games and 3 different styles of audio cues. I found the ski game to be the easiest and most fun. The submarine one was really hard for me ... might be nice to give the "hitbox" of the sub a larger area at least at the beginning. The skull one was fun, but I had this weird behavior that every round was the same pattern, so there might be a bug in there. Nice work!
Minigames are always a fun idea. Like others have already said, it was more than a bit rough to get into the games. Fun game though.
Fun idea to have a couple different mini games, although it felt that each of them could use a little more instruction or guidance to know how to play, along with the feeling of them being a bit disjointed. Something to tie them together, or focusing on just one of them, could give more depth and lead to a more engaging experience.
Minigame idea was neat, but the minigames were missing something to transition between them or an overall goal. I wish a little more instruction had been provided but managed to kind of figure them out nonetheless. Good job!
I like that you focused on the audio challenge. Favorite was the sonar minigame. Really nice concept.
Thanks for you comment ! I had inspiration for the sonar minigame from a movie you can read in the description. It could be extended far more :D For instance, you have to detect which submarine type it is, by listening to its audio signature, know if it is friend or foe and decide to shoot or not...
I liked the minigame idea! I wish the instructions were a little more clear, or maybe a tutorial level, but besides that cool take on the theme!
2 minutes and 30 seconds before the deadline!? You were cutting it close!
Interesting little Wario Ware style. Minigames are always fun to see. Sub and ski I got pretty good at without looking, so good use of audio!. Couldn't quite figure out the skull one. Would do one really good, then one really bad.
The one thing I think is really missing is some sort of loop to tie them together. Maybe go to a certain limit, then back to the title screen? Or maybe to the next game? They didn't seem to transition between each other very much. But with that not being the focus of the round, I digress.
A nice entry. Cheers!
Hi Brainfart ! Thanks for the comment. Indeed I was short in time and could not put a button to get back to the home screen... I wonder if I could update this within the voting period :P
As you notice also, I could have focus on one game and do it well instead of multiple ones but not really finished or polished. But that was the direction I took for this round.
Good luck to all ^^
