super cool puzzle game!
if you wanted to update the visuals, add some decoration, i could see this becoming a full game. very well done!
Excellent puzzle game! Jumping into the game without reading anything about it, I was surprised at how intuitive your game is. The way you introduce and use your mechanics was fantastic and I can easily see this being a great mobile puzzle game. I made it to the 15th puzzle before getting stumped. Great job!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Level 15 seems to be the main one people have trouble with. If you decide to give it another shot there are some slight hints on this comment page that might help.
Awesome game! I could absolutely see myself sinking way to much time into this as a mobile game
Thank you! If we continue development on this at some point I would definitely want to keep it mobile friendly.
Also, if you like mobile puzzle games, check out Afterburn Games if you haven’t already. I’ve really enjoyed all of their games, and there is undoubtedly some influence from them in this game.
I enjoy playing this game. I can't wait to reach level 15.
Glad you’re enjoying it!
Fun game! At least in the web version muting the music doesn't seem to stick.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
It’s possible that was a last-minute regression, we were tweaking some of the audio code to get the ending transitions working and might have missed that in the process. 😅
The Puzzles are all intuitive and cleverly thought out and the gameplay is simplistic and easy to grasp. The game does a very good job of helping you understand the basic pieces before moving forward and the music/graphics accurately represent what the game has to offer.
Thank you so much! We really wanted all of the elements to be as cohesive as possible, so this is great to hear!
I love this game! It's fun and engaging. The puzzles were great and challenging. Great job!
Thank you!
This was very fun! I, too, am stuck on the dreaded level 15, but that's probably because I'm a goof :)
The mechanics are intuitive and force people to experiment and play, which is nice. The music is very comfy and not overbearing. I love the theme of nature reclaiming/rewilding the world, too. Very nice job here!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
On the note of level 15, if you decide to give another shot (hint warning): think about how you might be able to extend a plant’s reach even further than you’ve been able to up to that point.
Very cool with satisfying puzzles. I think you nailed teaching the mechanics, really intuitive. Some things I think could improve the experience would be to have some kind of overlay when placing the objects to show what they would affect, and/or while they remain placed, the area they affect. Maybe like darken all the squares around them that they are, or could be affecting. Another thing that would be nice would be being able to move an already placed plant to another spot without having to press undo.
These are great ideas, thanks for the feedback!
I got stuck on level 9. Very cool little growing animation and I like the direction you guys took this. However, it would be nice to have an explanation of how each plants grow when you introduce a new one.
Thanks for the feedback! We were trying to teach the mechanics non-verbally, purely through the design/progression of the levels. But definitely, if we continue development on this at some point, it will be worth considering either how we can teach the mechanics more clearly or even have some kind of explicit explanation available as a fallback. Thanks again!
Don't tell me how to do it, but I'm curious if level 15 is actually possible. If it is I want to try and figure it out but at the moment it seems impossible.
I'm the composer for the game, and can confirm it is possible!
I had trouble with a few of them too!!!
Thanks for playing!
I beat all of them except 15 and I just cannot figure it out I'm gonna give it a few more tries. This is one of my favorite games in this jam
You can do it!
Thanks so much, so glad to hear you're enjoying it. :D
Finally got it! It uses a mechanic I didn't realize existed at that point, great job!
That’s fair! There definitely should have been another simple level introducing that concept beforehand. Hopefully people will generally figure it out through experimentation, but you’re right that it’s never made clear that that’s possible.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the game!
I definitely still enjoyed the game!
