nice for a first gamejam game.
The sounds were broken on mobile version when jumping.
A bit more variation and background graphics would be nice.

Yeah variation of sound, terrain and where one jumps or picks up stuff would be nice. It was very repetitive, so I stopped playing at 14 coins.
kinda biased but this game is kinda epic
Great game. The animations and sound are fantastic. It would be nice if there was a bit more variety to the enemies because they all seem to come at a constant rate but apart from that the game is good.
…I’m only playing the web builds so I discovered that the jump sfx keeps on playing while your holding the left mouse key, still a good game that clearly had a lot of effort put into it!

Fun little game! I understand that game jam games are often not polished due to time frame constraints, so I try to be considerate of that. But the main annoyance for me is the vertical movement of the camera when jumping.
The description says “Can you make it home in time?”, but presumably we’ll never know since it’s infinite ;-)
I personally think that the camera movement when you jump makes the game look more polished. But I guess everyone has their own opinions and tastes. I was also really tried when I was making the itch.io page (It was 1: am) and just decided to put that as the short description. I appreciate your feedback and I hope you have a good day!
Nice game, though it definitely could use a lot of polish (camera at the start, jump sound, graphics, animations) and more diverse game play (different cars and patterns, maybe acceleration/deceleration, other kinds of obstacles…). You could use HelperWesley’s DeltaChase as a reference of how to take a game of that genre to the next level, and higher ;)
Those are cars? For some reason I thought they were old-school TVs!
Thanks for your feedback! This is my first game jam game and would have totally put in more features, but I spent so much time on bugs that I didn't have enough time to get all that stuff in! One thing I wanted to add streetlights and bushes that you could see as you ran along the road. I am very happy with your feedback, and I'll attempt to it for some of my commercial projects! cool game, though holding left mouse click spams the coin sound lol
It's actually just the normal jump sound being played once. I know it's horrendous but, I was in a big rush and need a sound effect to play when you jump.
