Really simple idea, only thing I would change is so that you have instakill attack while cheating
Wow! Cheat on and off, I saw that coming from the title and I love the idea :D I also like the old style graphics. Good game!

Pros:
-Very cool game concept! I love the idea of making the character cheat intentionally to get past certain portions that is impossible to get past without cheating.
-Love the level design. As a platformer fan, I give you a big thumbs up for the game's cool concepts.
Cons:
-Some minor issues like standing on a cannon would cause the player character to stutter, level 5 has a blind jump that I don't like, and music sometimes do not play or play twice when I restart a level.
Neutral:
-Level 6 was very easy, and levels 4 and 5 were hard. Then again, levels 4 and 5 in the game that I submitted for the Jam are hard as well, so I don't think I have the right to say that.
-While I think that adding a halfway checkpoint or adding a +1 health item would be nice, the player has the ability to cheat for a limited period of time, which would make the game easier than it is supposed to be.
Overall, this is a solid game that I enjoyed playing.
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah the cannon collision with the player has some glitch. The music as well. I also get the blind jumps that you said you experience. There's some parts that has moving platform and there's a possibility that when you're in that place, the moving platform is out of camera so you would think there's nowhere to go. I should've add an indication like a horizontal line that will indicate that there's a moving platform there. Anyways, I appreciate your effort in giving lists of feedbacks and I'm happy you like the game.
Wow! Super unique idea that was executed very well. The art is fantastic and the game had a cozy feel to it. The only thing I found slightly annoying was the wait after being detected for cheating but it wasn't too big of a deal. Overall, the game felt very polished and I enjoyed it a lot!
This is a really great idea for the theme, I liked it a lot! I would have liked being able to play using the arrow keys as an alternative to WASD, and I found the sequence when the player is detected a bit too long to encourage retrying quickly, but it's really well made and immersive.
I enjoyed testing different strategies to progress. Great game!

And yes, the detection sequence is quite long but I want the detection feel like you really got caught and your device really needs to reboot. To make it more realistic. I cannot manage properly the W=jump binding, Space bar should be more confortable. Otherwise the concept is very clever and the reboot animation works very fine. Enemy have too HP and the "Cheat" doens't afford the possibility to one shot them maybe this buff could make your game more fun. Clap clap !
Thanks for the feedback! I'm used on using WASD as a movement hence the controls. Thanks for your feedback for now I take into account other possible controls for other players. The one shot when cheating is a great idea! But obviously the boss fight on level 6 needs to fight fair and not get one shot too. lol.
Really fun concept with a decent bit of content, thought getting detected was pretty funny. Only other thing I'll say is that some parts needed polishing up a bit, like the first time I cheated through a wall I got stuck and my character when all jittery, and then I glitched out again I fell off the world but it didn't kill me so I had to restart : ( Even with those minor gripes the game is pretty cool
Thanks for the feedback! I intentionally make the glitches out and don't die when it happens. As well as when you fall. You'll just fall endlessly. I made it like that so the feels of using cheat is there. That's why I added a restart function so that if you think you're stuck, you can just restart it by yourself. So you have the freedom to restart the game whenever you like.
