Nailed the theme in a really unique way, nothing else like it in the jam that I've seen! Really fun money/business management mechanic. Very well done, and the paddle & ball mini game is a big bonus, nice!

And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love your feedback on it, thanks!

This was fun. I really liked the scammer minigame! Good work!

I like the game idea :D

fun to play and to think of the game ideas to pass or trash them xd

Great job !

The concept is really unique and it's a fun idea to play around, the only downside is the way the game is designed as many of the prompts feel random and not cohesive. Even thought the game wants me to identify which were the real and fake prompts, with the randomness of some of the prompts it felt like 99% of them were "trash," but to my surprise they were supposed to be "pass." I feel like I would've enjoyed this game more if the prompts weren't as a random and they have more cohesion in their theme.

I'm not really into this kind of game, but I have to say it's nicely done ( the graphics and music create a great atmosphere together ).

Although, for me, it feels a bit too unpredictable. I've tried more than 10 times and still can't get past the first week...

Maybe a little fine-tuning could make it more balanced and enjoyable ?

The block breaker mini-game didn't feel like it really fit the theme. Also, I didn't read much and kind of just randomly picked pass or trash (and seemed to do fine...?). Interesting take on the ON/OFF theme, but I think I'd need a bit more to give it another go.

The texts on the computer screen were hilarious and silly. A game where you play as a unicorn and involves walking grandparents and learning televisions? Or a game where you play as a rabbit and involves jumping desks and painting answers? I couldn't get past the 2nd week, though.

Great game, i love the idea, just one question: how did you come up with these ideas?! They're so stupid yet funny, Great job guys

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! For the game ideas we first create a base message, which we then fill in with random words from a series of lists.

Submitted

sheesh, that easy?

Submitted

Good game, needs bit more game mechanics but overall good try. Would you mind taking a moment to check out my game as well and provide a rating? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Game Link

This actually has a really great gamejam ideas generator… I love how absurd some of them sound xD I might revisit this game when I have no idea what to make

Developer

Haha yeah, it kind of is! Great for when you're in a time crunch for a game jam.

Cool, I could not beat it feels too random ;(

Developer

Oof. Glad you liked it, though!

Really cool twist on the theme! I played it 3 times, won 2. It has some randomness and cool feeling that it actually makes you feel in the role. Very nice indeed

In the game you choose whether you are ON board or OFF board with each idea.

like how?

Developer

I believe I just explained to you how it relates to the theme.

I really enjoyed this game. Along with other games this so far is definitely top 3 for me.

The game doesn't need improvement but if I'm being picky the text wasn't on the screen properly which gave me a slightly more harder job to read. Also use of Tweens for smoother animation could've been used. But this is me nit-picking. You did a good job and at the end of the day, I enjoyed it. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The issue with the text is definitely something we're aware of, but it's also an issue we're having trouble fixing at the moment as the text appears normal in the preview. We're working on it, though!

Submitted (1 edit)

The issue may be because  the preview window isn't actually the same size it is on gd.games or itch.io. Go into Properties and untick the box update resolution in game. This will show you how it is on gd.games and etc. I know this through painful attempts to fix the same issue. And it also scales the game accurately when resizing the window which also is very helpful. Btw this will make black borders appear on the edge.

Developer

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work, as the same issue arises.

Submitted

Oh i'm sorry to hear that

Developer

What browser did you use to play the game?

Submitted

For some reason the text is back on properly. it may have just been a thing on my end. sorry for all this hassle. Btw I used Brave Browser and Google/Chrome

Developer

Yeah, I found that it's a browser issue. I use Brave as well which is why I saw the issue, but later when I checked on Firefox and Chrome it was fine.

I love this
