How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Its all about the quote luck is where preparation and oportunity meets just reversed into bad lack is where unpreparedness and threat meets

Actually very funny xD I played it for the 'I will break your bones' and I'm not disappointed! Training in order to fight bad luck is a fun idea! Maybe there could have been more luck elements in the game if you wanted to fit the theme more? But who cares, it's a game jam, as long as you enjoyed yourself it's a win :D

Good luck if you're really on a 100 day streak of making games xD And thank you for making this one!

Graphics are fun, and the concept of training using QTEs is nice. Main issues are that you need the mouse to click the buttons AFAICT, and that if the game isn't in fullscreen, the QTE window gets cut off.

I like the graphics, they somehow feel really positive. Unfortunately, I couldn’t defeat the first enemy because the energy bar covers the key display. But it’s a good start.

Cant really beat the game due to the (HP?) bar is covering the text imput of the fighter.

Other than that, This defiantly gets points in the 'quirkiness' category! The gym training reminds me of the Helldivers2 stratagems, where you have to have perfect inputs.

I studied the book, went to the gym then faced the guy where the bar is overlayed over the keys you have to hit. Good effort and weird vibes for game made in a day.

I liked the kinda secondary message where being unlock can be related to not being prepared for something in life, I understood that from the game and then I read your description here and it matches, so you did it!

Was nice, liked the concept but the implementation was lackluster and I never was sure if I was doing stuff right.
The boss fight was also hard cause where the button stuff was.

Knowing you made this in a day, its a fun little concept.
