How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
What's SPOOKIER than a HEADLESS SKELETON?!?!

Very well done. Great idea with the scull throwing and great graphics. the controls are bit difficult to handle.

Highlights
Always a fan of unique twists on popular genres! The level design here feels in touch with the core mechanic too, and that made my brain go :) as I figured out how to navigate. And that game over screen is really nice too. Whole game looks pretty!

Lower points
Some control stuff felt a lil janky. If I held a direction down to aim the head, threw the head, then threw it a second time without re-pressing the direction, the head wouldn't go where I wanted it to. I also managed to get myself stuck in a block, see screenshot for more!

I'm gonna be picky about music cuz I'm a nerd hehe. The composition of the first theme that plays is nice! But the sounds wouldn't be able to play on GameBoy. Most people tend to miss that part so I won't knock it too hard. :p

Really enjoyed this overall. That lil opening cutscene is all I needed to like the strange headless skeleton. Lots of charm throughout!

I thought the concept here was really neat and not a mechanic I've really seen before in a game like this. Also a nice variety of enemies for only having a few days to work on it.

I think a piece of feedback I'd give is just adding some acceleration/deceleration to the skull to give it a little extra juice. It always moving at a standard speed felt a little odd. Also a bit of invincibility frames after getting hit would help. I kept getting killed by the gaggle of ghosts all hitting me at once.

Nice to see a different take on a skeleton throwing is head!!! Good Job! I think there is potential to improve the movement. but i liked the concept!

I like the dual usage of throwing the skull. The movement feels a bit clunky, and I did softlock myself in a wall once. I would make losing health feel more impactful - currently it is easy to not notice it.

Very promising concept! With a little polish, it can be a great game!

Really nice mechanic, the gameplay is a little slow, but a promising concept.

Really liked the mechanics, a bit op some times, and a bit I couldn't escape all the enemies and projectiles sometimes. I like how the ghosts and other enemies try to look scarier than the skeleton but they can't, the player is the bad guy xD

Very cool mechanic, maybe I would have liked it more on a puzzle game, here with the enemies that attack you  it becomes more skill based, but at the same time it feels a little bit slow/clunky. The art style is really nice, I would just suggest a couple more inbetween frames for the animations, and maybe with just a smoother player animation, the feeling when controlling the player character could also seem a lot smoother.

Gameplay is promising for me it is quite unique and has a lot of potential, the ghost spooked me a bit
