I think the speed could use some ramp-up time to get used to the game mechanics. It looked cute, but it didn't scale with my screenresolution and was tiny (heh) on my screen ;p

Developer

Yeah... game got a little weird once I ported it to the browser. I need to check how to make it scalable. Thanks for giving it a try, though! :)

I loved the twist that we're not actively collecting trash, instead we're saving starfishes ! I was expecting something more slowpace at the beginning but I enjoyed it all the same at this speed !

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try! From the tests I did with friends, it took them a few tries before they got the hang of the speed (which should probably be a sign that the game starts too fast). I'll be choosing calmer waters for River Catch 2 :)

Great concept! It would be even better if you added more challenging elements, maybe objects that can break the net if you let them pass, or something to refill health points.

Developer

That sounds great! I will add it to the pile of ideas for the River Catch 2 :)

Good use of the jam theme to make things smaller as a mechanic.

Thank you!
