Shout outs for a Flatland based game. Good implementation of the idea.

We appreciate you were inspired from a book story; you need to put a little tutorial to explain how can we play the game! Nice work! ;)

Cool implementation of the flatland idea. I saw a couple of other entries were also inspired by it, but I think this one did it the best - the thin line (rather than the colours taking up the whole screen) and the patterned walls made it easier to navigate and perceive as space.

Definitely interesting to wander around and talk to people and I enjoyed how you worked in aspects of the book like how the shapes have to be careful around sharp angles hehe. A cool atmosphere overall.

This is so nice and well done. The music switch when you go into top-down view is really good. Really impressive work!

My one criticism is that the character controller rotating away from things it collides with made navigating a lot more difficult than it needed to be. I couldn't figure out why my guy seemed to randomly turn, and at first i thought the green things were shifting around me. It added to the weird existential dread i was feeling, but probably not in the intended way.

Nice mechanic but missing a goal. The intro is nice but it could give more feedback on doing something (or wait until it is finished) For me that wasn't clear.

Story is nice and some rotations in the npc text ;-)

I don't get it, what is this?

Well done for making flatland a reality! I like the intro and the option to see things from above.

After the intro I was expecting to see top down view, but I was pleasantly suprised. The orientation was a bit trippy but really cool. Good job!

Never thought I'd be able to navigate with just a line of sight. (pun intended)
You did a great job with the use of colors to indicate what's what! The ability to see things from above wasn't even necessary, but a nice addition. Nice characters too.

Great job :)

Trippy lol. Very accurate to the book, and it is quite immersive. I don’t know if there is a certain goal I’m supposed to achieve or if I’m just supposed to be immersed, but I am definitely immersed

I love this, it's a much grander scope for a game than I anticipated. The mechanic for seeing in spaceland and in flatland are very well made and the game runs very well.

Hey fellow Flatland inspired game! the intro takes very long but after that it's super interesting to play. Pretty cool!

Submitted(+1)

Interesting concept :) The intro is a bit long and I'm not qutie sure I "got it" though I can see that there is a 3d view and a "flat view" :)
