Did you use any existing assets? If so, list them below.
We did all the drawing and 3D modelling ourselves, but we needed to use some assets for other areas. The soundtrack is Countdown - Studiocolomna from Pixabay. We downloaded and modified some free SFX with CC0 license from freesounds.org. We unfortunately needed to use the FX_Small fire of the free medieval props pack (Unity Asset Store) for WebGL build: for the PC version we were able to use our custom effect build with the Unity VFX graph which is not supported by the WebGL build. We used a free Skybox from the "Fantasy Skybox FREE" pack available on the Asset Store. For the outer terrain we used a couple of textures from the pack "Handpainted Grass & Ground Textures" which is free on the Asset Store. Finally we used the free Unity Starter Assets for the third person controller.

Unexpectedly fun. The switch was nicely animated and the way the mechanics shifted but recognizable...very well done.

Glad to have entertained you!

I loved the voices. The jumping into paintings was a fun idea,

Developer

Thanks!!

I love your interpretation of the theme. Also, your mechanics are ingenious i think. It was short and sweet. You should try and look into pacing the game a bit more.

Developer

Thank u for the observation!

I love the audio (especially the voice overs). The 3D kitty model was also perfectly scary!

Developer

Thanks! <3

Wow this was great! It took a little while to get used to the controls but the concept is so cool. I managed to escape with 19 seconds to spare 😎 Nice story aspect too! Great work!

Developer

Cool!!!
Well done!

I liked the 3d to 2d interaction and the front cut scenes with the voiceovers where great! It did give a creepy vibe to the game with the guy's voice.

Developer

Thanks!

I love the art & the 3d/2d transition is so cool. Awesome job!

Developer

We are glad you liked it!

The game quite hard at the start. But I like the idea and really love the voice over!

Developer

It's hard to balance the difficulty for a jam session, we try our best ;)

Really cool game, I loved the ambience created by music and the cutscene. A bit creepy, yet cool! :D

The only problem is that I found it a bit difficult - I'm not a master of this kind of games...

Developer

Thanks for playing!!

Such a fun little game :D The 2Dimensions were used very well, didn't even realise what I did first when the E popped up and I pressed it, thought the cat had a fire extinguisher and he would have done that :D

Was looking for ages where that key went, even ran back to the front door, but then literally 2 seconds left I found the window and was able to jump out.
Funny narrations/Cutscenes as well!

XD

Thank you for playing!

Amazingly done and implementation of 2 Dimensions! I love it, i wish there are also checkpoints in the 2D Levels as my gameskills are...questionable at best but I did manage to beat it. Audio and sounds blend perfectly with the game!

Developer

Thank you!

You did it! Congratulations!

This was a crazy experience. Cat running from two psychos in this 2-3D mix. Music is adding to this dark atmosphere and the voice acting adds to it.  Somehow, the art reminds me of Psyhonauts. I like it. Well done!

btw. On Replay screen, neither options (Reply, main menu) aren't working.

Developer

Thank you!!

(we noticed it.. we are working to fix it!)

I had a blast playing this game!

I had a great laugh at the cutscene at the start of the game, and the different dimensions were fantastic! Coupled with quality music, sound effects and narration. I wished we had time to add a narration to our game.

Great submission =)

Developer

Thanks!!

Is there something negative about this entry?
No! Its purrfect!
- Theme check!!! I always wonder how people change from 3D and play to a 2D game that is like a texture on the wall. I guess its a camera that renders on a texture and the level is at another place.

- Aesthetics check!!! Simple but fitting. Nothing that pops up different in the environment.

- Music check!!! Since you are being chased the music makes you unnerving!

- Sound check!!! You need to let the player know when things happen. This game does it!!!!

- Mechanics check!!! Nothing to say here!!!

- Story check!!! A poor kitty is being chased to captured. So you need to escape!!! Great fit!

So this game is totally fun. I want to see this in the finalists!!! I gave 5 stars to everything!!!

Cheers!
