Visually, it is very interesting. I imagine it could be a super fun mobile game.
Gamplay requires a little more work.

Okay this was a pretty good game, needs intructions as sailing into an island is not common practice and this made little sense as the way to collect the gold.
Controls were intuitive enough and it moved well.
I would look at the player needing to take more than one hit to lose a life (maybe a health bar)
Overall not a bad submission, well done!
This seems like it could be the start of a good game! I couldn't quite grasp how to collect gold. I was able to kill a ghost ship, but whenever I sailed into an island, it disappeared into a puff of smoke.
Nice that you have the graphics options (which is lot a time is not considered at all). It was fun to play, but I was missing somehow the overall goal/purpose of the game (or I'm just too tired:D).
Nice job bringing all the elements together the way you did. Should really keep this on going and expand on it. Well done.

Hey, nice one! Simple, and I so much like the idea that the gold weighs you down. Perfect application of the theme. Unfortunately the game didn't do much to bring that more on focus. I could tell I was becoming slower, but there are no opportunities for that to show, like for example a timer, or someone faster chasing you etc. If you can come up with a way to force the player to be strategic about it (like offload the gold somewhere first and 'bank' it and then continue collecting more) then this could be a fun little simple game.
