Thats somehow the very same basic idea for the theme interpretation as in my game, but a very different game :-)

I like the balancing aspect.

From a gamers perspective, I'd like more graphics displaying the current populations. the current ones are pretty much unrelated to the state.

The theme interpretations for this game  is one of the more interesting I have seen so far. I like the different approach!

this is the first ecological simulation in the balance jam i’ve come across - kudos for trying to tackle that

Interesting concept!

A simulation without satisfying visuals is not that great. I wish you would try to offer some visual of what is happening, I know the console is writing things but still it's not cutting it I would say.

I have found a bit of a cheatcode, I ended with 100% balance by simply spamming carrots into existence until the time ran out. I would have liked for the populations to affect eachother (perhaps every 30 seconds, the number of rabbits would go down by the number of wolves, if there are more wolves than rabbits any wolf that didn’t eat disappears, every 10 seconds the carrots would go down by the number of rabbits, so on). An economy mechanic (giving the player limited cash and making it so that adding things costs money, maybe more interactions with it) would be a nice pairing.

The theme interpretation was quite creative and I like the thumbnail art.

I have found golden ration of each species) Cool idea, played two times. Maybe add button to add not a single specimen but a bunch at a time, because when rabbits explode there much clicking required on carrot)

I liked how you interpreted the theme! I think the idea of ecological/population balance is really creative :D The music was also pretty calming to listen to-

I really like the cover art graphic, it caught my eye and made me click on the game to try it out. The concept was fun and different. I would like to see how you could add more depth to the gameplay with more time.
