Very nice music and sfx, also the graphics-style is great.
The balancing of light and dark is a great addition to the intensity of the gameplay.
Very cool entry!
The visual is perfect the game is very fun well done. Good game.
excellent graphics, it would have been easier if we could jump with the UP key
Thanks! I’m honestly shocked that it didn’t even cross my mind to use up to jump. If I’ll continue this game it’ll be the first thing I’ll add.
I love that you have a README and License file (main criteria for open source category). I especially love that you stuck to the game theme and colours in the README.
Colours and theming is very slick. So very cool! I love everything about this game. The way it starts, tutorial and everything is smooth and gives you all the controls to go further. Addictive. Interesting take on the theme and very creative with the changing colours (not all gamers would like this, but I enjoyed it). Graphics, sound effects, and music all very on point. KUDOS and congrats on another fun game.
Very interesting game!
Cool idea, and well made!
Really interesting game! Love the theme implementation.
Its good concept and interesting game.
I would like to see where the cubes were on the "opposite " side.
And as mentioned in another comment — there's a bug on level 4. After you pick up the red cube, you get stuck in the air and nothing happens.
I’d personally love a soothing background music and softer, more pleasant sounds, especially when reaching the goal. That said, the gameplay itself is a fantastic challenge and the design are where this game truly shines. The mechanic of shifting between dimensions is brilliant! You have to time your jumps, often landing on blocks that are invisible to you until you change the dimension. The game feels fair too, for example you are warned when the meter is running low, and although I did find myself inside blocks at times I was able to jump out of them. This twist is both innovative and rewarding. It would be much smoother if you could always see the block you're controlling but the visual design is a strong point—everything is clean, clear, and easy to follow, which is crucial when you’re constantly shifting your scenery, and love the light that shines on the walls and floor. The addition of a meter that depletes depending on your exposure to the light or dark dimensions is far better than a simple timer and is a great use of the balance theme.
Cool!
At the end of the 3rd or 4th level, I hit the goal and everything just stopped. Is that the end of the game, or was that a bug?
Thanks for playing. There should be 7 levels, where each level ends when you reach the crystal. Starting very easily, but I’ve heard the last one is pretty hard. Unfortunately, I ran out of time in the jam to add more levels or even a nice message at the end of the game, so you might have hit the end.
Nice game!
Really liked the graphics design ! Fun game
