Really a great game, it has everything graphics, audio, animation, drunk vibe. Correct me if i am wrong, but charging attack longer than necessary doesn't provide any damage bonus. Add a bit more gameplay from charging an attack and maybe an ability to throw stuff it would be awesome
art is good.
Cool game. Art is awesome.
Good job! Cool visual!
Thanks!
Nailed it! Great game!
Thank you for the kind words!
Really love the art style, it gives off such a cool retro vibe! The music was a perfect match too, super catchy. I also saw the bartender art below, super cool touch!
We really appreciate the kind words!
Very cool art, I enjoyed it!
Thank you!
Really love the art, and the gameplay is pretty good. I find a bit repetitive after a while and yeah I read the comment and it would've been really cool to have the bartender.
Great job !
Thanks for playing! We definitely felt a bit bummed that we had to cut down on the game's variety at the end there, but we've been looking into updating it with more substance when the jam concludes
The mechanic of "charging your attack too much paralyses you for a bit" is a neat twist on a brawler game where you are usually expected to mash the keys like a maniac. The artwork is great, I like how the protagonist's walking animation kinda looks like he's headbanging to the music. My only nitpick is that there isn't much enemy variety, but that's probably because of the jam's time constraints.
We did actually have a long range bartender enemy modeled and coded, but he kinda completely broke when we incorporated the animation, and there wasn't enough time left in the Jam to fix him. It was a real heartbreaker but here's a look into that funny lil guy
I love the art, great job!
Thanks, I'll be sure to pass that along to our art people!
Cool Game :)
Thank you!
