Interesting idea!
Really impressive for the jam timeline, especially only working on it for one week! I like Reigns a lot, but I think if you pushed away from those influences and went with more of your own style (whatever that is), this could easily be expanded into a full release. I would love to see more types of interaction, more clarity on the decision outcomes (something missing from the Reigns influence are the indicators for which stats will be affected), and/or more to see in the room. I was doing well for a while, but eventually the mutants took over. After all I did for them, the nerve!
Interesting premise and a great start! With some fleshing out, I think this could be a compelling game.
great job! it really reminds me of papers please but with more reading. also the font on fanatics' papers are a little hard to read with it being a little far from the screen and somewhat blurry, it would be better if you offered an alternative standard font for players to choose as an accessibility option or something like that. besides that it's a pretty good game and a cool concept! i hope you expand more on it.
Yes I though about adding and option to view as plain text when clicking on the paper, but I didn't have time to do it. I also messed up the resolution when building so that's why its pixelated/blurry
Thanks for the review, Papers Please was definitely a great inspiration for this game!
Well, this has to be the best stamping documents simulator I've ever played. Love the artstyle and dark humour.
This has so much potential! I really enjoyed the visual style and ambience. I would play a lot of an endless version of it, great job <3
I'm glad you liked it! Did you reach any of the endings? I was too tired to play test after submitting so i'm not sure if they are working correctly 😅
