an interesting concept! it reminded me of solving chemistry problems. i liked how the size of the elements corresponded to the multiplier in the equation and the audio cues for correct/incorrect. i'm not sure if this was an error on my end but i had to scroll down or zoom out in my window to click the "Next" button in order to get to the next level. i think it fits the theme of the jam and was a fun and short game!

For the open source category, you'll need to have a README file and License file.

I like the "sparkle" sound effect, and the use of the balance theme is great. Nice job. The next button is off the screen however, bring that a little closer, or just have the user click anywhere on the page to continue to the next "level".

It reminds me and i mean this in a good way, of doing Redox reactions in college chemistry.  Fun with proportions.

Yeah i echo the sentiments of others that it was tricky to interpret the comma-operator.  I had solutions in my head which to me would balance top and bottom but the Goddess had other plans.

Pretty solid and engaging.

Gave you an itch follow, if you like the things on my page(s) consider doing the same.

Cheers,

I love me some math puzzles. Agree with what others were saying about the wording being a little ambiguous with multiple elements. Very satisfying sound effect on the element adjustment. Nice work overall!

I like interestng puzzles concepts. The idea is not fully original, but still feels fresh. I also appreciate the educational aspect of the game. Like the theme as well. Good job!

I loved the simplicity and concept of your game, and I really liked the graphics and music. Well done!

I'd really appreciate it if you could try out my game too, rate it, and share your feedback.

It would mean a lot!

The game is somewhat simple, but the art is pretty and the concept is interesting—it fits the jam’s theme perfectly. The problem I ran into is on level 6, where I’m not sure if there’s a bug or if I’m just not understanding something about the game. Isn’t 2 Earth + 2 Water, Wind the same as 1 Earth, Wind X2 + 1 Water X2? I’ve tried several combinations and numbers, but I haven’t been able to figure it out...

Other than that, I think it’s a great game. Good job! ^^

Hi, thanks for playing.
You almost got it, maybe I didn't make it clear enough that the number in a box will multiply the whole thing
[2] Water,Wind -> 2 Water and 2 Wind
So, the correct answer for 6. is as the image below. Both have 1 Earth / 2 Water / 2 Wind

Best answer

By the way, there are multiple correct answers. I didn't restrict that you need to use the smallest number in this version.

Ow, wait, so "Earth, Wind X2" doesn´t mean "[Earth, Wind] X2" (2 earth, 2 wind).

I got it now, thanks.

I know it is confusing.
I will change it to something like Earth,2xWind or Earth, Wind₂
