- Oh this was so good and so frustrating in equal measure! Such a brilliant concept, too - the way the power-ups speed towards the player adds a whole other dimension to factor in when timing dropping them. Visually it was brilliant and I loved the music and effects. Solid, polished, mostly on-theme and unique. I feel like a nice player affordance would be for you to drop a 'marker' at the top when you use a power-up, like a ghost-marker, so you can see it on your next playthrough. I appreciate that may make the game easier, but believe me, by level 5 I really needed it! :)

Thanks a lot for your nice and comprehensive feedback. As a huge Phaser enthusiast, I feel honored to get feedback from you on my little game 😊.
Finding the right difficulty level in a jam is always tricky and I tought: „This time I nailed it!“ 🤣🤣 Looks like my play testers also got too good over time. I tought how I could make it simpler and really like your suggestion with the ghost marker.
Thanks again and I am happy you had dome fun with my game.
What a gameplay style! It's way different from other platformers and the music is sick too.
I'm just so bad at playing games -.-
total deaths == 50
Levels played == I'm embarrassed .
Thanks a lot for playing and posting your score :). Yes, it takes a bit to get into it. Suddenly at some point when you have the timing it gets pretty easy :). Glad you liked my music!
Amazing job thinking on this kind of power and not controlling the player directly, I thought It was made for the NPCs challenge, but it seems it is not tagged with that challenge, perhaps it should, both player and the support are cute!!, the levels were well made!!, kind of difficult too but that can be done with some practice and dying a lot of times as I did.
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback. Hmmm I never thought about the NPC challenge when I created this game. However, you are right it kind of fits also there. I will add it, lets see if it is not too late :).
The art is from an asset pack with some additions by myself. Yes, agree that it takes a while to get into it, but as soon as you have a feeling for the timing it should be ok :).
Nice job on the game! Overall, it is really polished and the gameplay was really unique with how we need to provide the power ups to the character. I struggled with the timing a bit, so it would be nice for the first part of the level if maybe there was an indicator or if the game slowed down to show when to hit the power up button. I really liked the quick overview before you start the game though!
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback. Agree I really need to think about how I can make the learning of the timing a bit easier. I like your suggestions. Thanks for the good ideas.
A pretty fun and minimalistic game!
Thanks. Yes, I always planned to do a very minimalistic game.
Very cool game! I enjoyed the unique take on platforming, and the art and music were solid too. Great job!
Thanks a lot for playing and the positive feedback. Glad you liked it.
Thanks for open sourcing your project!
Happy to share my spaghetti code with everybody :).
GREAT GAME!!
Thanks, happy you liked it!
Niiiiiceeee!!!
Thaaaaaannnnnnksssss!!! ;)
Art and music created a pleasant experience. Timing was a bit tricky to master. Gameplay is quite unique. Nice job!
Thanks for playing and the feedback. Yes, it definitely needs a bit of practice to get the timing right. I need to think about a bit on how I can make the beginning and learning the timing a bit easier.
this is so good, the art the music the gamEPLAY
Thanks for playing! The art is from an asset pack (with some additions done by myself), but the music is fully hand made. Glad you liked it.
Great entry! The mechanic of providing the power up to the payer is cool and unique. I couldn't seam to get the time down and I think either a visual or audio indicator of when you should drop the power-ups would help. Nice work!
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback. That's a good idea. Probably for the first few levels I could add a hint to help the players get into the timing a bit better. Had many other players telling me that in the beginning it was very difficult to get the timing right.
This was awesome! Extremely clever game with well thought-out level design and a good amount of polish to go with it. Definitely one of my favorites to come from this jam.
Thanks a lot for the kind words and playing my game! Happy to hear you had fun playing it.
