Ok, i really liked it, platform is my favorite genre. I don't undertand in what you implemented the theme. The music seems like and old mute film music...it dosen't match with the colorful and playful tone of the game graphics.
But you do a good job
Classic and cute platformer. It reminded me a lot of those classic flash platforming games you used to see a lot in the 2000's on Miniclip and such. I think you've hit the tone well. You can also tell that you have spend a lot of time testing and adjusting the levels in order to make it possible to jump at the right times and in the right places. That is really great, and helped make the experience a bit more smooth. The music was a bit sad, which really got amplified each time I died. I really felt for the little jungle adventurer.
I hope you've had a good time creating this game :-)
very beautiful description, beautiful game. However, this is a platformer game with servals levels.
This platformer game turned out to be quite a challenge. Maybe I would order the levels based on their difficulty. I didn't expect a game with such an innocent graphics to make me angry haha. It is quite bad that most of the jumps have to be almost pixel-perfect. The collision boxes also extend beyond some of the sprites which causes the player to die unexpectedly many times. +1 for a beautiful piano music.
The music was great! Although the graphics looked weird with pixel art on regular art. Impressive that this was done with python though,
Very cute game, you should include more information about your game on your page! Good luck on the jam
