You can use existing engines, libraries, or any other tools - doesn't matter if Phaser, LittleJS, or React, all are ok. New content means you don't publish your old game made months ago for another jam.

Then you could've updated that post.

You already posted a thread here, no need for more of the same.

Yes, as long as you follow this competition's rules (theme, deadline) you are good to participate in any other jams as well.

Ye, that's totally fine.

Check out #looking-for-team at gamedevjs.com/discord

No, you are free to participate from anywhere in the world.

Yes, you are free to use AI in any way you want, as long as you don't break any laws or licensing agreements, assets from the Internet are also fine on the same terms.

Hey, we didn't have any participation certificates in the past, but this question was raised a few times recently, so I'll look into it, thanks for asking.

Are you a student by any chance? Do you have any specific expectations from such certificate?

Check out the #teams channel in our Discord (if you haven't already) as some folks were posting their info there.

Yes, best entries (overall, but also criteria, and challenges) will win various prizes.

Looks interesting, thanks for sharing. Keep in mind we also have a dedicated channel in our Discord for that.

None are guaranteed, but we do have a few in the community, so I'd excpect some to do that this year as well.

Congrats on completing your entry for the jam!

Yes, now after the voting ended you are free to update the game.

It's unplayable, nothing loads - the requirement of the Jam was that the entry have to be playable in the browser on the Itch page.

Uploading the zip is the right approach, but apparently something was broken in the zip as the game is not working. How could it stay as a valid entry if noone can even play it?

Most probably a bot sending automated votes so their own entry gets high Karma score and will be shown more often to other voting participants. We are looking into this right now, thanks for reporting.

Yeah, exactly what elocnat said.

It is not submitted, you had to submit to the jam, not only publish your project - ping me (end3rEnclave) on Discord ASAP and I'll help.

that's already submitted...

Ping me on Discord (end3rEnclave) ASAP and I'll try to help.

Ping me (end3rEnclave) on Discord and I'll look into it.

You can update them after submitting, but before the deadline (4 hours from now). After that the entries will be locked for voting.

You need to share the exact link to your game if you want me to look into this...

Can you both share links to your entries?

Both submitters and contributors will be allowed to vote.

You should fix it as entries will be played and judged on Itch. Join our Discord and ask hor help though and we'll be more than happy to assist.

Unfortunately not, everyone have the same amount of time and the deadline won't be extended.

Was this created during the Jam?

Can you provide the description in English?

Sure, totally!

It can, but for the purpose of this Jam it will be ignored as only the web build will be played and judged.

Unfortunately not, the deadline is the same for all participants.

Yes, you can submit as draft, as you are free to edit the game as much as you want during the jamming period between April 13th and 26th. After the deadline edits will be locked for voting though.
