Goes out every Friday since January 2014.

Keeping you informed there are results of the Gamedev.js Survey 2022, a second edition of the series of questions for the community about various aspects of web game development - if you're curious what's the current state of things, make sure to check out the Report!

Ps. We'll be conducting the third yearly Survey at the beginning of 2023.

As long as it exports to the web, so the game can be played in a browser without downloading anything, then yes.

Yeah, Coil membership and tip credit for participating in the Web Monetization category - send me an email https://end3r.com/contact/ or https://gamedevjs.com/contact/ to claim it.

You should've got a message via Itch, but no worries - send me an email https://end3r.com/contact/ or https://gamedevjs.com/contact/

Hey, did you get my email asking to get in touch to redeem the prizes you won?

Yes, they will, and also include separate rankings for given criteria. Everything will be published tomorrow.

Yes, the voting is over, and the results (along with categories/challenges, and expert feedback) will be published tomorrow.

Do you have, by any chance, your source code available on GitHub for the IPFS judges to view?

Let's talk on Discord.

Yeah, it's good now.

That's not how winning competitions work :D

You have to implement given requirements and then beat other contestants to win prizes.

No worries, glad that it got cleared out :)

Both were optional - you didn't need to select any of those. Category selections can be changed at any point in time.

I can't seem to notice anything about Web Monetization API being implemented in the description, yet you selected this category - can you let me know if I'm missing anything?

Edit your entry and remove all the checkboxes next to categories you've selected (Web Monetization, all Decentralized ones) please, thanks :)

(1 edit)

rpghorrorfan2 You clearly don't know what you are talking about. Coil is the pioneer company in implementing Web Monetization API, Sasha leads Human Guild, which drives NEAR Protocol adoption. Both are legit, sponsor the Jam, offer a bunch of prizes and benefits.

Which entry? And "deleted" how? Ping me on Discord via private message (end3r#3212) and I'll see what can be done.

Ok, then you need to host it somewhere else as well and point people to that version in the description.

Hey, you checked the "Decentralized: no Challenge" category, which means using a decentralized technology, but a different one than given in other Challenges (NEAR, IPFS, MPL) - can you let me know what other technology you have used? There's nothing in the description about it. If there's no such tech, can you please remove that selection to not confuse the experts/judges please? Thanks!

You selected every single category, yet you're not implementing any of the required technologies. Can you plase remove those category selections from your entry to not confuse the experts/judges please? Thanks!
