Nice Game, just way to hard without some kind of checkpoint.

This was a cool one! I always love roguelikes and tactical turn-based games. This was a really neat twist! I like how the player has to move quickly and chase down enemies. It's tough to fall through the ground and I wish I had a bit more warning. Still, the game is fun and I really like the turn-based aspect to it. It's also cool to drop the enemies through the floor.
Wow, very cool game. The rules are easy to understand and yet this game was a challenge without checkpoints. The level design was very good, I like how you implemented little puzzles within it :P
I liked a lot the game, it's very challenging and feels nice to go through levels, just add some checkpoints here and there and also some background music. Great job
I like the art quite a lot! I also like the snappy movement and I think the design of the levels conveys the feel of the game very well! Great job!
Hi! I'll be playing Pachango tomorrow on stream along with several others games from the jam at 3:30pm EST. I'll be talking about any interesting design decisions as I play, and suggesting improvements if any come to mind. Please feel free to join me live, it'll be extra fun to chat together about your game while playing it :)
Here's the segment where I played your game! Like I said in the stream (and as many others have commented here), Pachango could really use a checkpoint system. You guys did very well in integrating the tutorial/instructions into the game itself, and it's really great for players that your level design can support different play styles. I'd love to see an inventory system added to the game, with swords, armor, storing potions for later, etc. and more enemy types. Keep up the good work, and thanks so much for joining me on stream! :)
Solid game. Well polished for a two day jam. Audio could be better.
