Great audio and graphics! I had trubble moving, especially with the red guy. I think his hitbox was a little to big, I was hitting the walls. I have also often missed jumping from a platform.

I liked the changing music when you switched sides, it really fits both guys (blue and red). The artstile is also consistent and fitts the game perfectly.

Overall a great game!

Thanks a lot, Anadz94, your comment is highly appreciated.

Movements and jumping will be surely polished in future versions of the game.

Fun game. I wish it had a co-op mode; it would be cool to try playing with another person.

Hi Torchwood77, thank you so much for your comment!

We studied the possibility of including it but for the type of game and the structure of the team. This idea presented a lot of downsides for a proper release of the jam, but nothing will block us from including it in the future if we decide to.

A fun game, the puzzles are unique and the music is nice

Thanks a lot!

The art style is delightful. It looks like a really well thought game. In my particular experience, I couldn't manage to pass the first level because I left the box on the left side in a place I couldn't reach anymore. Also, when trying to restart, the pause got stucked and I couldn't move on, or go back to restart.

I'm going to give it another try later because it really looks like a good idea!

Developer

Thanks for playing , I am really sorry for the issue , we are working on fixing this type of bugs. Can you explain to me what do you mean with the pause got stuck ?

Submitted

Sure! Happy to help you guys out. Basically, I pressed P on the keyboard, and the game got frozen and no pause menu appeared. By the way, I was testing it on the Web build. Count on me on anything I could be useful!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, i am having some difficulty reproducing the bug on the web build, i tried to press P when windowed, in fullscreen, after a restart, after a continue and after selecting a level, the Pause Menu always open when pressing P.

Would you tell me what browser you are using and in case which operating system ?

Thanks a lot

Had fun in this one, great premise.  Reminds me a bit of something like Snipperclips (Switch).  Nice paper-blended graphics.

Developer

Dear Sadodare, thanks for your comment! We are relly happy to hear that you had fun with it!

I love the blue guy! Movement was a little off could have been better for sure. Level design seems good.

Developer

Hi Xentios, thanks for your comment

For sure the movements and jumping will be polished in a way to give the player a better experience playing our game.

The graphics is certain the highlight of the game. The idea of having two characters at different scales is interesting, but I don't think it is affecting the gameplay of the game significantly.

The movement of characters is rigid, it should to be more polished considering the duration of this jam. At the beginning of the game, the player is still trying to get used to the controls, the we should fell off quite often.

The levels are getting more interesting as I get into later levels as more machansims are introduced.  The earlier level are honestly kind of boring, especially considering they are pretty large.  I think you should avoid long levels at the beginning due to the control problems I mentioned above. Players often fell off the platform and have to restart the long level. If this happens many times, players will get fraustrated and quit the game, which is sad because they will miss the more interesting content later.

I have having similar problems when it comes to level design with my game. At first I always want to make large levels. However, I realized that these levels are often repeative and boring. I think for puzzle games, smaller and delicate level usually better. If you are interested in my game, please go check it out.

Dear Nickwsy, thanks for the very detailed comment.

We will surely find a way to make the controls more polished and the jump less frustrating.

Great graphics and sound design.
I did manage to brick the game by dropping the box and not being able to pick it up again. Maybe make it so you can also pick up the box if you are on top of it? :)

Dear NjitRam thanks for your comment.

We are saddened to hear that you remain blocked. We inform you that in the pause menu, there is a restart button that you can use in situations when you may think you are stuck

We planned to make the restart function more explicitly for the player

The games look real good and sounds awesome. I did got stuck in the first level though. My block fell on the second platform I could not fit through to pick it up again. Only real comment what I have, is that I don't see scale in this game.

A nice premise and artstyle but sadly the theme interpretation was fairly weak, if you took the game and played it without taking "scales" into account you'd basically have the same exact game (which is certainly a good puzzle game).

It definitely has potential, but perhaps it would have been best to try and emphasize the theme a bit more on the mechanics for the gameoff.

I think you folks did a great job creating a challenging platforming puzzle game with a pleasing aesthetic, and I had a great time playing! It's clear a lot of polish went into the final product, something that can be hard to pull off in game jams. Each level clearly ramps up in difficulty. I found the platforming required a little getting used to though. Overall great job team!

Submitted(+3)

Wow, great game! Really well polished and amazing artstyle! It's just fun to play! The only thing I would adjust is the movement. It feels a little bit clumsy , but besides that great one!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Merphin for your comment, much appreciated.

We will listen your suggestion and we will polish the movements of the player
