Awesome idea! Would love to see this flushed out in the future - There is just something awesome about being a dragon and laying waste to everything around you!

The game is fun to play, but there is absolutely a need to add a bit of variety, perhaps with enemies and some power ups!

I'm curious, did you have to cut any features during development? In case I created a topic specifically to talk about the features we gave up during development, it's called "The features cemetery"!

It's funny, but I don't see where is the scale theme.

You need to polish the enemy IA, because they run to the dragon embers instead of avoid the fire.

The flying controls felt really smooth! I did have some problems with WebGPU stuff, on Firefox though, might want to look into that!

The game is really exhilarating to play, capturing the dragon's resilience and strength well. Just a small suggestion - if the dragon's fire-breathing range could be a bit longer, that would be even better. Good job :)

Good idea, you feel like a real dragon :) I found a small bug, if you start fire and the green scale ends, then the fire no longer goes on, but the sound of fire is there until you release the key

Cute game. I'd recommend you look into making shaders and particle emitters to make the fire look better. It will help avoid the look of overlapping sprites for the fire.

We are using a particles plugin, but we weren't able to make it work with our different render layers. We'll try to fix this in the future. Thanks for your feedback!

well I think I destroyed every single town, ended up with 16.7k points and then killed about 1000 villagers just for the fun of it. I guess it helped me understand the season finale of Game of Thrones a lot better seeing how fun it was to navigate / fly the dragon and burn everything on its path! Fun music choice, it was almost comical to burn everything to the ground while hearing Bach in the background. Fun game, great job!

cute game, i loved flying around at different speeds and racking up a multiplier, my best score was around 5k

pretty cool dragon sim. flying was pretty nice and the fire worked well. wish the castle hitbox was a bit bigger though. I felt like I'd fly so fast and only get part of the building a lot

Great game . The art style of castle's and mountain's are really great .The pixelated border around mountain's seem unnecessary .Also giving dragon similar colour to the background could blend them really well.

We had to cut the auto tiling feature so that's why you see such "harsh" borders around mountains (I think that's what you mean), but I'll work on this in the future! And as for the dragon color, we decided it would be best that it had good contrast so you could always see where you are at. Thanks for commenting and for your suggestions!

The flying around as a dragon and dropping flames was really fun, easy to start and had a bit of game feel. The graphics are really nice! 🐉 🔥

Very enjoyable and easy to pick up!

One small improvement would be having a bit more visual feedback of castles burning or exploding.

Glad you've liked it! We wish we had more time to polish it up and add more effects (sound is so crucial in games!) but we will try to push some more updates in the future.

Fun game! Flying feels good and I really like the fire.
Is the map procedurally generated? It looks different each time you start a new game.

A bigger one would be nice to enjoy the high speed flying for longer :)

Thanks Mati! We generate the map by using a very basic algorithm and Perlin noise. Bigger maps would be great, but we'll need to optimize a lot of stuff first!

Weird map with men being able to walk over water. I like the title art and dragon design graphics. Also the fire was nice very colourful :)

P.S I think the map would be better in colour instead of sepia.

Thanks for commenting! We couldn't get our soldiers into ships in time sadly :(

For the map we went for that "ancient map" kinda feeling, but I think it would work better if enemies and buildings had more contrast.

Very fun! Eventually I figured if you draw a circle with the flames and stay within it, the soldiers just run into it lol! Would love to see some variety should you keep updating it, you could have different levels of different maps mayhaps :)

Alol all those brave soldiers fear no one, not even death by a rain of fire! Another commenter suggested a "flee" mechanic which would be hilarious, I'd love to implement that. And going around different map types would be cool, I agree. Thanks for your feedback!

The truth is that the control is very satisfactory and also how you throw fire is certainly fun. You could put VampireSurvivors style elements and it would be very good, it is a very scalable project like the theme haha

Glad you liked the controls! We aimed for "light Survivors" elements but we didn't want to go overboard as it's full of these games lately IMHO :P so we stayed a bit more "arcade-y" if that makes sense. Thanks for your comment!
