This was a nice submission! I liked the gameplay and the graphics.
Well, that was a very interesting experience!
I like the idea of controlling two characters at the same time, in order to solve puzzles, that require coordinated cooperation! This also works well, when you're playing by yourself with no pardner, which is a very good thing, especially for loners like me! Although, some of the interactions weren't so obvious at the start, so I suggest making a tutorial, that would show the needed interactions.
I also am not really fond of the levels. In my opinion, the first level is a way too hard for a beginning, the second one is pathetically easy, and the third one is a some kind of joke.
Besides the mechanics, I also liked the pixel art graphics, combined with neat little lighting effects, and the calm music playing in the background (though, it did became irritating after some time). Due to these elements, the game presents itself very well!
Overall, this is a pretty good game, but as I said, the levels really need some more work.
Wow I have no idea how to play this :(
But the music and the artwork is nice
I also love the way the blue creature (Bounds?) jumps arounds
I got a key.
The music and artwork are sweet. The first level could be simpler to get the player used to controlling both characters and the types of ways they can interact with the environment and with each other. Overall, this is a solid game.
A really nicely presented game, and I liked the idea of having two characters with complementary move sets. Unfortunately, the level progression means that the first level is very difficult, while the other level is almost trivially easy. A gradual increase in the complexity of the levels would better equip the player with the knowledge of the mechanics to solve the levels. An interesting take on the theme, and I think it would make a nice co-op game if developed further.
I loved the aesthetics of the game so much! I think that starting with very simple, short and explanatory levels to fully understand the mechanics and then start buildin to more difficult levels would have been nice. Great work!
This makes a really good two player game, challenging but fun!
This game has so much potential and I love the octopus and alien characters but I found it a bit frustrating to control them both, especially the octopus who could not jump sideways. I think if the controls got reworked slightly this could be really, really good
