MaD is an arcade shooter that's all about taking two weapons and hybridizing them.

When any two weapons are fired at the same time, their effects and attributes are blended together to create a new, more powerful effect.

Players can use different combinations of weapons to create a wide range of powerful and bizarre hybrid firing effects, from Shotgun Rockets (Rocket +Shotgun) to Auto Cannons (Sniper + Machine Gun) to flechette darts (Shotgun + Sniper).

A very fun, easy to play game! Do think the drones should be slightly larger and the UI should display a icon with the current weapon (instead of clicking to see the effect). Keep up the good work! :D

Great mechanics, the gameplay combines shooting and resource management.

I'd love to see more time put into the graphics and variation between weapons!

Come check out ours if you have the time :-)

Thanks! We had plans for dozens of weapons, but needed to cut back in order to finish in time!

I think we might try to build it out into a full game with a more defined aesthetic soon!

Please do, it has plenty of potential!

Nice idea, but drones are too small and too fast, sometimes charge right at you from off-screen. Your health is low and you die a lot in an annoying way. It is unclear whether you can pickup a gun or not.

Nice game but too hard, or could be that I played it in a laptop. It is hard to know when you can pick a gun, and drones are too small in comparison to the helicopter's size and the shooting ratio. The sound effects for shooting and getting hit should be different for improving player feedback.

Thanks for the feedback!

While the game is meant to be hard, it shouldn't be unfairly so. Some better player feedback could definitely make it feel more skill-based.

Sound was something we simply ran out of time on... next time I suppose!

Good game, simple and to the point.

Quick note is that I found with the gamepad I couldn't aim? It wanted to keep the last mouse position.

The detection on the gamepad needs a little work. If you move the mouse, the game switches you over to using mouse location as your aim point.

If you stop moving the mouse (just shove it to the edge of the screen if it won't go away) you should have no issue using the gamepad to aim.
