How does your game fit into the theme?
We played with the idea, our writer thought it would be a cool idea to use the chain reaction as a horror theme, like Doki and her friends changing/mutating. I also thought point and click would make it more literal of a chain reaction of unlocking doors.

The horror and humour were equally balanced XD Point-and-click was a tad clunky, but I managed to give Matara the cure by smacking it in her face!
The art and designs are absolutely gorgeous, the sound is very spooky, and the atmosphere is on point!
Unfortunately I found it really difficult to get the final ending. I didn't notice for a very long time that the mint card was just a sliver of turquoise that could be seen behind Doki's head (not sure if this was intentional layout or something with my browser) so it took me a lot of tries to even realize it was there, especially because Doki wouldn't "walk" in or out of the room, when I entered or exited she just teleported in and out of the room so I didn't get a "oh wait was that the card I just passed?" type moment when leaving the room. I also got very confused when I found the "formula" bottle first, because when clicked on it would pop up with something like "i need potions to make the cure", which confused me because I thought the "cure box" from earlier would have a cure in it, I think just renaming the "cure box" to "potion box" would've helped me understand what was intended tremendously.
I felt like I understood what the gameplay was going for but a lot of it ended up just being trial and error and brute forcing, as others have said the layout was confusing, I think a map would probably help but some way of differentiating what the arrows indicated would also help, for example if the arrows that pointed towards the exit were yellow and arrows that just exist to indicate another room in any direction were pink, etc.. I also think slightly more puzzle elements instead of just traveling from room to room could've made the gameplay more engaging.
There were a couple minor issues as well- dialogue issues: one spot where a line is attributed to Doki that I think was meant to be Mint? and a part where the Narrator repeats their dialogue (Both when talking to Mint on the right side of the map IIRC). I got a bug where Doki was stuck running in place infinitely which I believe was caused by clicking two different spots to travel to and Doki getting stuck between them. Agree with other commenters that some kind of effect to indicate interactable would be great. The hitbox for clicking the crowbar felt very small, and the hitbox for the mint card didn't line up with the part of it I could see. Sometimes with the cards especially you didn't have to click them in your inventory to get to the area they were locking, sometimes you did have to click them, not sure what caused the difference, sorry.
Overall I enjoyed the game! I think a few player consideration/accessibility design changes could've made it even better
Like the atmosphere and the art a lot! I was intrigued by the story and it got me to try and get more endings.
I did get stuck and couldn’t move, but it was in the first room, so it was quick to get back to where I was. I also got lost really often. I think a map or more intuitive placement of where she spawns in rooms would help a lot.
Umazing! Had to play in silence so we don't get too scared XD
Great game! the art is amazing and making a horror game is perfect since Doki usually gets scared of horror! Loved the experience!
The art is amazing! I really like that someone made a horror game for the jam!
I love the sprites for Mint and Matara, they're awesome!!
Thank you so much!! I'm super happy to hear that you loved the sprites 🤍🤍🤍
I am not good with horror and this game definitely gave me the chills. The first quick ending sent shivers down my spine. The BGM and overall environment worked so well as a package. And coupled with the point and click style gameplay, it was very well executed!
I kept playing to try and get the other endings, but some times if I clicked too fast to move Doki, she would get stuck or warp to a different room (the garbage bag thing for ending 1 would show up in the Mint dialogue page). Some hints would be nice, even if it was a text guide in the game page.
So I just uploaded the recent version that addressed the same bug that other players have been experiencing. If you get a chance, please give it another play, and if you experience any more bugs, let me know, and I will work on them as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your feedback. I value criticism. And I hope everyone enjoys the game. I wish I could add a map toggle that shows the map of the game. However, I'm afraid that it might violate adding features to the jam. All I can say is just try your best when trying to solve all the puzzles and exploring all the rooms. Thank you for your time!
Just replayed it. I was able to clear it! I like the small improvements as it made it easier to figure out where to click.
There was still one minor bug. When restarting the game after getting an ending, the locked doors don't get reset. I was able to leave the first room without getting the crowbar and card key.
Thanks for updating the game! I'm happy I was able to see all the endings now!
I really enjoyed the horror aspect, and the art was super well done! Hope to give this another try after some bug fixes. I experienced some heavy sliding at one point and couldn't move around.
I think some feedback on when you interact with an item (like a sound effect) would also help me understand when I've done something right. Aside from that, really enjoyed the direction. I think point and click games are really neat!

I would suggest a guide, as I can not really seem to figure out how to play the game past the purple keycard. I want to rate this but I also want to be able to play it properly first too. Please let me know if there is going to be an update or something. I will happily come back because I love horror and want to play and rate!
I wish I could add a map toggle that shows the map of the game. However, I'm afraid that it might violate the rules of adding features to the jam. All I can say is just try your best when trying to solve all the puzzles and exploring all the rooms. Thank you for your time! I also fixed the sliding if you want to try again ^ __^
I have since revisited it. No need for a map anymore, as my character not sliding across the screen, triggering multiple overlapping transitions, means I can actually navigate cleanly. It plays like a game! Smooth and without issue, solidly! So I got all endings in pretty short order, thanks to my expertise in horror games. My only real issue is that mint does not remind me of mint in the overworld. But otherwise especially for the time limit, making a horror game is EXTREMELY hard. Well done indeed! I give high marks on ambience, it is spooky and the environment well drawn. Dialog seemed to struggle when I had an item selected, doing a weird double-play or no dialog at all. But the core game and story is a taste of horror that I am quite happy to have received from this game jam! Fantastic work!
Your game's in my queue so I need to rate it, but my computer or browser or something didn't vibe with the build and so there wasn't any way to move Doki after the first splash image, so I didn't make much progress, sorry! I'd happily return to the game and score it more properly if you're able to fix that issue.
I really love the art direction and atmosphere/ambiance of this game! I got stuck at the part with the stack of deadgoons and the tank though, and could only go left (to the locked pink door) or out the door
Great ambiance! The art, music, & soundfx were very good and were conducive to generating the vibe of the game. The dialogue & some soundfx also added a little hint of silliness to an otherwise, grim story which I liked.
Some bugs/critiques:
Thank you for playing our game, and thank you so much for the feedback. We will fix all the bugs sometime tomorrow or tonight. Yeah, we didn't have enough time to properly set up triggers for the endings, so we just kind of plopped them in there.
I fixed most of the bugs. If you want to retry, if there's more, let me know. Thank you again for your valued feedback!
