You pulled me in with the promise of crabs, and it was delivered! Gameplay felt a tad slow and the random spheres around the map confused me a bit, but I liked the cut-off distance for the camera and the animation for catching the crabs! Story of the game is a great idea too, always a fan of wacky plots!
I catched the crabs. It was fun. The crabs are too cute, but a job is a job I guess. :D
Funny nice little game. :)
I caught all the crabs and hopefully now the Lich is pleased with me!
Once I saw that tip that SHIFT+direction moves faster, it became a bit easier. And I just assumed that the big balls were part of something the Lich was working on and beyond my paygrade :D
The environment, crabs and catching animation look cool.
You combined very slow movement with tiny steps though', that's uncool. ;)
What a fun theme! I really liked the voxel look of the crabs. I would have liked the movement to be a little faster, and I found that sometimes I couldn’t move too close to a wall by moving forward, but I could if I turned and strafed into it.
Good job!
Poor little cute crabs. I got all the crabs, but unsure how to finish game and didn't find any use for sphere objects on the level. Yeh, moving could be a lot faster. If catching crabs should be a bit harder - make them also move faster, but character would still feel much better to move around with faster transition tile-to-tile.
Visually it looked good, though. Little crabs are adorable!
I really appreciate the in depth feedback about it! Shamelessly the only objective is to catch the 🦀. I wanted to create multiple catching mechanics as you progress the dungeon but wasn't able to get that far. Sometimes I dream too big and poof goes the week 😂
I think I'd like to spend a month on it to be honest and give it the love so the crabs can have more friends and I can add some music and other cool stuff :)!
Just one thing about objective - I found one more crab sneaking around after I completed it!
But yes! This for sure can be fun little game with slight tweaks there and there. I totally can see that. The only real issue is movement speed to be fair - distances are long enough for it to make it a bit of chore to move around. But hey! I still enjoyed crabs and the way to handle them ;)
Grandpa on a wheelchair catching crabs in the red brick dungeon. The movement is slow, but the crabs are lovely.
lol i don't think it could be any truer ❤️ 👴 🦀 🥅
