It took couple of fights to notice that you can move during battle, but once I get that it became way more fun. So it's like dungeon crawler shooter, right? :)

Nice touches with upgrades, different enemies and with that you need to move in most battles to be able to win.

Better than COD

Good one ! The movement is snappy and complete, the upgrade system is simple but well constructed and I liked your interpretation of the theme. It's solid all around, nice job

The perspective is a bit off however, the player character feels really close to the ground

This was fun! It was cool to see how you integrated FPS gameplay with dungeon crawler movement. I found it a bit on the easier side, but that's probably for the best for a game for a jam. I wish there were more levels!

Nice game! Fun to play :D

Is there only "Dungeon 1" or are there more levels? I cleared it completely, including the boss fight, as far as I'm aware.

I like the camera effect when shooting, it adds a lot to the feel of the game. I didn't like that I don't get any clear feedback when an enemy hits me, other than a healthbar losing health. This was especially tricky in the final bossfight when random minions spawn and you don't have any idea there's a new one clobbering you to death in an instant. I think there are sound cues but that's hard to focus on when clickspamming others to death, a visual cue would be a great addition I think.

Also, the UI popping up on death has some questionable button placement. When I was frantically clicking, and then died, I'd sometimes just immediately click on one of the options since it's right near the middle. When it brought me back to the hub I was a bit annoyed, thinking I lost my progress, but luckily that wasn't the case and I could immediately jump back into the bossfight.

Anyway, I enjoyed playing it!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it, I could only make one dungeon during the jam time so that's pretty much the end of the game.

Thank you for the feedback!

This was some frantic fun, cool boss fight and catchy music. I guess it feels like you're crawling a bit, I prefer the perspective a bit higher, but that's nothing.

Great duality in the healing mechanic, and quite lovely music. I liked how fast-paced it was

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Great concept. Dungeon crawler shooter, very nice idea.

Developer

Thanks, hope you liked the game!

very cool twist on a typical dungeon crawler with the shooting range style combat. got abolsutely rekt on level 2 tho :D

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing the game!  Last dungeon was made in the last day so there was not much time to play test it, so yeah, a little bit of yikes on my part there.

I liked the red smiley face dude.

I liked the music.

I quickly got stuck where an enemy was attacking me, but I could not turn to face them.

I pressed ALL the keys.

And I don't see how the theme fits in.

Developer

Yo, thanks for playing the game. I missed the stream unfortunately since I was sleeping (Jam was tough), sorry you encountered a bug tho.

For the theme I thought of using the shooting mechanics to damage and heal as a "contrast between two concepts", might've fumbled it by misunderstanding the definition of duality, might've not. Still happy to have people play and test, thanks again!
