The game is super cute and polished, congratulations! I've loved the different flowers origin and the notebook aesthetics. Sounds fit perfectly as well. Really great job team! I would love to see the game expanded like you explore the world to collect flowers and bring the seeds to your decorated greenhouse.

Incredible! I'm amazed at the level of polish you all managed to pull of with this game! I love games like this, where you have to walk around and learn about the world. I even made two of those myself, called 'That Starry Night' and 'Memoirs', so I always love discovering new ones! I think all did an amazing job here. The artstyle is extremely cute and beautiful, I loved the music, and it was really fun learning about the different plants. The only little gripe I had with the game was the fact that the movement directions weren't alligned with the camera direction (e.g. pressing D would not move the character forward according to the current camera position, but rather forward according to the world X and Y axis), but that wasn't a big deal at all. Lovely game, congrats on finishing it! Thanks so much for participating in the jam <3

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback (and for hosting the jam!!)! :) I'm looking forward to checking those games out! You're definitely right about the camera and character movement; is been the main thing that has been brought to our attention so if the team ever revisits this project, it will be addressed for sure :)

Cozy lil game - love the music / design.

It feels like you put extra care while making this with all the bells and whistles too (loading screen / pause / volume control) The little 'hello world' ref made me laugh. Had fun learning about different plants. Well done C:

Developer

Thanks Ben! Glad someone caught our little reference :)

Developer

I asked for the most NPC dialogue lines for my NPC avatar and was not disappointed. Thank you for playing Gardenia's Global Greenhouse. We figure putting in the extra care would make the game more cozy. As the one who programmed the loading screen, I half-expected it wouldn't work due to it being WebGL but fortunately, it ended up working well in the end.

Developer

Thanks so much! :) Phil did an awesome job with music

Yay I got the sticker :) I wanted to walk around more, but the odd movement was making me a little dizzy

Developer

Oh apologies for the dizziness! But thank you so much for playing and the feedback ☺️ will definitely keep in mind character movement and camera perspective alignment if this is ever revisited !

Very adorable game! I included it in my Cozy Spring Jam 2023 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look!

Developer

This is so cool! Thanks for including us in your video :) We’re glad you enjoyed!

Wow! I am really impressed by the visuals of this game - the art style, graphics, and animation are all fantastic! Also, I love the attention to detail - for example that gardenia's hat looks like the earth in her global greenhouse, wonderful! The music is also nice to listen to and fits the mood perfectly. Great effort by the team, congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Ahhh I'm so glad you noticed that hat detail ! ^^ And thank you so much, your game was one of my favourites to play!

Sooooo well polished! The attention to detail and focus on refining small ideas is what really makes them into great experiences! Very well done, and thanks for the nice relaxing vibes!

Developer

Thank you so much! :)

Yay, I got a free sticker :D

Very cute game, loved that I had a book with all those flowers and added details. Art, music and sound effects were very nice and fitting. The addition of duck was a wise choice :)

Would loved for some more gameplay or background story, but for three days this is already insane. Hope this was just a prototype of your next game :)

Developer(+1)

We included an NPC of everyone in the dev team based on their discord profile. Mine happened to be a duck :)

Developer

Thanks so much :)

Sooo nicely done - awesome graphics and animations, and really cozy game play feeling!

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you felt the cozy vibes!

We had really similar ideas! Thats funny. Smooth, simple, and cozy. If I had to recommend anything I'd say the movement, I feel like this perspective moves best when forward and backward is relative to the camera direction.

Developer

Thank you for that feedback, it's super helpful :) And that's awesome to hear that your game is of the similar concept, keen on trying it out!

Very cute, very simple but also very fun! It's such a cozy place, i wish i could go there in real life

Developer

Thank you so much! And yeah, I feel you :) I think if there were a greenhouse like that I'd find an excuse to visit as much as I could
