Visuals: 3/5 - I loved the gameplay page where you are fishing. I also appreciated the animations of everything as well. I wish that there were assets that were spring related.
Gameplay: 4/5 - The gameplay was simple and easy enough to understand. I appreciated that it was communicated clearly by just looking at the game. I also love collecting things so that was a neat surprise to see that I had an aquarium.
Music: 5/5 - I loved the music. It was very fitting.
Immersive: 3/5 - I wanted to know what I caught right after catching it but it would never tell me. I don't know if the sun is blocking the message or if that is a bug.
Originality/Style: 3/5 - I loved the concept and the style is cute. I hope that if there are future developments on this game.
Thanks for playing :) the fish showing up in the message when you catch it was actually the last thing I was working on, but I was in the last 10 minutes of the jam so I had to upload it already XD
Love the concept, and the style fits it well. Sort of storybook?
I did need to mess with my view settings a bit before playing, needing to zoom out a tad even in fullscreen. It seemed to be perfect at like 80% before clicking full-screen Also small bug, but it says "You caught a" but then cuts off when you catch a fish.
That said, these are both minor things, I still was able to jump to the aquarium to see what I caught and they all were the cutest fish. I hope to see more from you!
Relaxing and cozy :) I loved the aquarium feature especially! It would be nice to know what kind of fishes I've managed to catch when back at the aquarium page
You should be proud of this game! I always enjoy games where you can collect cute animals and it was fun watching my aquarium grow. I also liked the mechanics and artstyle. One critique is that I wanted the game dimensions to be a bit smaller but still keeping the fullscreen button in case you enjoy fullscreen games. Overall great work~
the fishing mechanic is so creative! but i wish there was a short explanation on how it worked - i was a bit lost at the beginning. i loved the music, i think it fit the atmosphere beautifully, and all the drawings were so cute!! especially the little person fishing in space
Sitting on a cloud, and the movement even fits the music :) So cozy! Dreamy :) And very nice fish designs :)
Would have loved to see which fish I caught when I catch it and for the aquarium to show how many fish there are (maybe as greyed out shadows). Animating the fish in the aquarium separately would give them a more lively feel :)
I see that someone else made a fishing game haha! The approach you chose is interesting making it a timing based mini game !! The art is cute especially the fish.

Thank you :) The screen sizing was something I wanted to do, but it got pushed back. I'll make options for different screen sizes soon :
Nice, I caught the fish!
Yay :D thanks for playing
I love the little aquarium! I included it in my Cozy Spring Jam 2023 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look!
Thank you so much, I watched the video, it's cool you left a fish for everyone else to discover on their own :)

Thanks for playing :D you're right I should put a list somewhere, there is a lot of empty space on that aquarium page.

Thank you :D Yes, unfortunately the whole option menu got cut for the jam, but it will be back soon :)

Thanks for playing :D I'll put in some little graphics to explain the fishing :)
Being able to see all the fish you've caught afterwards in the aquarium was a great touch!
Thank you that was a fun thing to set up :) I want to make them swim more randomly eventually to make it look like a real aquarium

Thank you for playing :) I do want to animate the fish seperately too

Thank you I liked your mechanic too :)
Love the aesthetics and the concept :)
I was a bit confused on the reeling at first. good job
Thank you, I'll try adding little graphics to explain the reeling better :)
Neat little game, I think there should be sfx when you eclipse the moon.
Thank you :) yeah that would be cool, some sort of success sound
The mechanics was a bit confusing at first. But I love the soundtrack! The art is good too. Nice work.
Thank you, you too :D
