Wow, this is downright wonderful, possibly my favourite entry from the jam.

The take on the theme is great. The core gameplay loop is lovely and even though I though at first the formations are useless until I've tried again and got a bigger flock meaning it works as an optional higher difficulty. The visuals and audio is just great and the whole thing is a super-chill, fun, cohesive package of perfect jam-game length.

My only nitpick was mentioned in the comment below - I kept forgetting/not realising the mountains were obstacles.

Best score we have seen so far! Good job!!

Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you so much for the feedback and the enthusiasm. We already made a new version with enhanced readibility for obstacles. We'll update it as soon as possible.

What a gorgeous game! I really like the idea of migration, and the music does so much to make it a relaxing experience. This might have just been a me thing, but I was confused at first about and then kept forgetting that the mountaintops were obstacles,  but overall the level design made a lot of sense!
The whole package feels very polished; congratulations!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah we made that common mistake of being so headed into the project that we see everything as fine until someone points out that no, some things are not that obvious ^^" gotta make mistake to learn from it, right?

Yeah I don't have a bad word to say about it 5 stars for everything

one of the most satisfying experiences I've had so far, getting some studio Ghibli vibes even

do you have a GIF with just the music playing and the little farm animal way down below?

A really great game, you should all be proud of the work put in

Thank you for your feedback, it means a lot to us! ♥

We can make some GIF eventually, but unfortunately we do not have rights to share the music, since it is licensed. The author is Steven Melin if you wanna check their work.

Ugh, I hated losing one of my birds!  This was amazing, I loved it.  Definitely a fresh approach to the theme, great music and art, I would've like to pan a little faster at times, but I get the relaxing feel of coasting.  I wanted to fly through the white clouds so bad, like maybe just the rain clouds hurt?  And trying to go back for a loose bird almost always meant losing another on the way.  But overall I loved it.  I got a 63%

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. You're not the only one who gets attached to his birds.
Nice score for a first run, I'm sure you'll do much better from the second run on. You can speed up anytime you need a little boost, by pressing the Space bar and move your main bird. This drains the dash bar on the top of the screen as long as Space is not released but after a cooldown, it replenishes so you can accelerate again! Use it wisely and you'll improve your score.

Really beautiful! I like the idea with the birds flying together. Music and relaxed atmosphere reminded me of my childhood days playing on the snes.

This was a beautiful little game. The art and ui were very nicly polished and cohesive. The control did get me stuck a little, as control and arrows take mac users between desktops.

A cool concept for gameplay, I would love to see where you could take it. I would love to see a faster paced version with more progression in puzzle difficulty.

Overall I enjoyed this game, but it was a little frustrating at times with some of the obstacles not being clear until you hit them.
