Thank you for investing your time and giving some feedback.
About the yellow enemies, yes, good point, I should at least change its color or shape to something more aggresive.
I don't know exactly about the character position, right now he has more vision up, if I move him to the bottom, he would practically not see anything from bot. (Perhaps you encountered a bug?)
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty :P, I've tried to make the game somewhat harder to force the use of rewind/resurrection, some friends of mine play it and had no problems, so I was afraid of doing it very easy. In particular where were you stuck? It would help me learn what should I balance if I decide to continue.
Thank you again for your feedback
This is a very cool game with an amazing intro (the text should be more readable) but the gameplay needs some polish. In the first level you could fly between platforms, and sometimes be over the enemies, the soul skill not always works as expected and (personal opinion) I'd change the aim controls, I'm not a big fan of rotating the camera in a top-down game with the mouse. Having said this, I think the main problem was overscoping, because the potential that has this game is not something that you can easily accomplish in 1 week. So, amazing job, this is an ambicious and great submission that can become a very good game.
Very nice game, this probably required lot of time to implement. I'd change the tutorial so that the gameplay is like what you encounter after completing it, but it does its function and is better than no intro/tutorial for a game like this. I liked the poly graphics and the particle effects. Overall great submission, keep it up!
A very unique and cool game. The gameplay feels good and the art was beautiful accompanied by a nice music. I've missed some message for example when reaching the girl, telling you that there can't be no copies of yourself in the level, I've read it in the game page description. Other than this beautiful game, great job.
The gameplay of this game is very nice, it feels good, I'm missing some sound effects to give feedback to the player when somethin occurs. Also, I'd add some depth to the rewind mechanic, right now is very secondary. It's very cool to see bullets rewinding too, but it's strange to see how only some of them rewind (the ones out of screen or not destroyed). If you add sounds and improve the rewind mechanic this could be a very good game. Overall, great job, I've enjoyed the time invested playing it.
Very cool and unique game. The gameplay feels very good, the art is simple but beautiful and the music amazing. You did an amazing job introducing the mechanic and helping the player with the drawings. Only thing I missed was the restart button working for webgl version, other than this, it's an excellent game, great job.
First of all great job considering your age and that this is your first game jam. As a priority, I'd fix the collisions, This is probably because the colliders of the objects aren't well adjusted to the sprite or the scale of the objects is too small (seeing the space between colliding objects). You should zoom out the camera a little bit too. Having said this, great job and keep it up!.
I've found the difficulty itself in the rewind mechanic, which is not very intuitive, so you have to force your thinking arround it. In my case I reached the last level and I left there, but in particular the level difficulty is fine if it's the last level, with more time to invest it shouldn't be a problem. In particular, I was stuck near the exit:
Wow, amazing game. The controls and gameplay feels super polished. At first I wasn't convinced at all, when the rewind/clone was introduced it was when I started seeing the potential. The level design, the gameplay, the art and sound, etc are excellent. This is a very fun and enjoyable game. At first it seemed very difficult, but when you get used to it is a very satisfying game. Great job! Keep it up.
