Really enjoyed the array of customers and world destroyers! I think some art assets for when dragging the ingredients into the cups would definitely spice things up some more if you end up adding more content!
I had a fun time with this! My poor customers never got quite what what they wanted though lol. I really enjoyed the SFX and silly animations by the way. It gave the game a lot of character.
You did mention the game isn't yet complete, so I won't tell you things you already know. I'll just say that with so many possible drink combinations, trying new ones sometimes felt like guesswork. That's pretty much my only feedback though. Nice work :)
I really liked the character animations and their overall design, you managed to create a good atmosphere for the game, as it is pleasant and relaxing. I really enjoyed the main mechanic of preparing the drinks according to the customer's preference, but I felt a bit lacking in more information sometimes, as it can be difficult to know what they really want. To add an extra challenge, I believe reducing the waiting time would be a good idea, since we have few options, a long time might not be necessary. Sometimes the water indicator overlapped with the text, making it a bit hard to see, but nothing that would hinder the experience. The game is really fun and has a very interesting concept, I wish you success in its development and I am eagerly looking forward to see how future updates will turn out. Good job!
Neat game! Since you intend on continuing this game I have a few suggestions that would have made my experience a bit better.
There were large and small cups, but it wasn’t clear if that mattered - maybe customers could indicate the size they want.
Some more feedback on what was wrong with the drink when it wasn’t perfect would be great.
I enjoyed my play through, nice work!
Thanks for the feedback! I cut a lot of pieces that were in progress, so the large cups aren't used yet in what is released. My goal is to 'unlock' the large cups and other ingredients in subsequent days, so it should be more apparent when they are needed. And I will definitely think through how to give more feedback for imperfect drinks.
The characters were so cute and I found myself doing multiple attempts to get their orders right. "Even though I'm a world-destroyer" made me chuckle!
I really liked the animations you did for each character. I could not figure out all of the correct drinks. What is creamy and spicy?? I had fun!
I liked the little character animations when they left, they were so funny!
I liked a lot the mechanics of having to listen to the people/monsters + filling them the cup with the desired ingredients! Reminded me a bit of “Good Pizza, Great Pizza” and made me want a coffee right now :D
I also love that, even if the assets were not made by you, they fit a lot with the kind of mood the game has, the music, sounds and the characters. Great and fun to play!
