FFFPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFF is the noise I made when I finally escaped. PHEW!!! That's been my favourite experience in this jam so far. Music was great, art & animation was great, the little touches like the heartbeat and the messages appearing under the flashlight were awesome, and the whole light mechanic was fun and tense! It took me ages to escape, but I did because I HAD to I couldn't leave him there! Well done, I really enjoyed this thank you!! :D:D

Cool idea, that was easy to grasp with great visuals and audio :)

Like a few others, I was on the edge of giving up by the time I found the key; so if you ever extend it I think, maybe a few easier to find hints, or optional collectables, would be great for keeping the player motivated :)

I absolutely love the art. The music also adds to the atmosphere. The controls are intuitive.

Though, as someone has mentioned, I'd love that there are some hints as to where the key is.

This is just a suggestion. If you want to balance out the difficulty, maybe you could add several keys or objects to collect.

Overall, great game. It gets creepy at times but isn't overwhelming.

Loved it, but couldn't finish it. I would love to see some sort of indication of where to search for the key, rather than having to just go through the whole map blindly.

The great: I love the way the flashlight kept revealing these creepy details hidden in the map, finding the house with the message was really rewarding.

I didn't understand what to do or what the story was (if there was a story there, I couldn't get to it). Still, I liked art and animations.

My only complaint is that the music doesn't feel like it loops well, also it's really funny to just follow the grim reaper with your flashlight off, maybe it would be better if you can also only see them when the flashlight is on, idk.

Great entry! Really love the pixel art and the atmosphere of the game.

Great mood and a nice relaxed pace,
Evil Obi-Wan made me jump the first time too :)

The game art is really cool, the music is good too. The game itself is not difficult but well executed. Congratulations to you

Very spooky game, the visuals were great, but the music felt a little to intense even at the calmer parts where the grim reaper wasn't chasing me imo.

I found a bug where the leaves where on top of my character as instead of them being under him.

other than that its a well made game.

I love the music. The midi voices really add a lot!

The art is fantastic! I couldn't find the exit but I did find something spooky at the graveyard. Cool game!

Love it! The music is cool and creepy! Still trying to escape...but I will get it! :)

Kind of neat. I'd like to escape but feel I have no warning when the reaper comes. I did hear the heart beat but by then It's too late. Would be nice to have some type of heart beat that's heard when he's far enough off screen to avoid him. Nice job on the art, visuals and audio.

Yeah, we were trying a few things to help balance the difficulty. In case you didn't realize, when you turn your light off, the reaper will leave you alone. That part wasn't spelled out too well. Thanks for the comment, I'll check out your game as well!

Loved it, but you might want to consider changing the font to something that matches the 8-bit feel of the game.
