I loved the concept, great work.
I really liked the concept of this one. Great way of introducing the theme, and the B&W scheme. The controls did feel a bit unresponsive at times, and I would love to see more variation, but other than that, great puzzler.
Interesting concept for a puzzle game, was a nice test of memory and a great use of the black and white details.
My only criticism is the controls didn't feel responsive. I had to hit spacebar many times to start the game and I had to reload the page instead of using backspace as it wouldn't work for me. This could be a problem on my end.
Really fun concept and an incredibly charming little character! I liked the animations and the sound effects a lot. It was fun! The first level could have started off a bit easier and I wish I could move more quickly. But I definitely enjoyed the concept here and I really hope you can expand on it!
Also, great work overall! I hope you will play my game and follow me too!
Cool concept. I think there needs to be a warning before just knocking yourself out, isn't that what the stick is for? Could be a fun little game if I can start it over faster and maybe optionally move a little faster.
Cool game but the restart should've been faster
Really cool idea! Thought it was very clever. Maybe have like some flashes that would remind you where you are or smth like that :D
I like the consept and how it uses the "black and white" theme really well, but I think becuase the caracther moves so slowly, it doesnt keep me in the flow of the game, and the same about the ui that takes time to registed inputs.
also i would have been cool if you expiramented more with the consept of sound, for example: A radio that makes sound and you "see" it when it blacks out.
good job!
I like the concept. The problem I have with it are mostly minor ones that works together to damper the experience..
The most obvious one is that when you fail, the game tells you to backspace to restart. The problem is that you have to wait a amount of time before the backspace button can work. There is no telling how long I have to wait to restart and the waiting period seems almost random each playthrough. It makes repeat playthrough a drag simply because you have to wait, and you don't know how long to wait.
Now with the biggest cratiqe out of the way, now for a smaller one that I'm not sure is by design or not. Either way, it could be better. Okay, so there's not enough time or room at the start to get a good sense of how the character moves. It feels like the lights cut out before I can get a feel of what arrow keys would do. Because of that, it's not just a matter of memorization, but also estimating how far the character goes in a single button press. It took me awhile to realize that I don't need to hold the arrow keys to move. If memorization is the focus, maybe a tutorial room you can access with the press of a button can be added to allow the player character to move around in a spacious room with the lights on until you return to the main room. That way, the player can get a feel on the controls, and then focus on memorizing the map.
Overall, a interesting idea, and one I think is worth a few more updates in the future to become a nice small experience. I would like to revisit this later and finally beat it when I have time. Keep up the good work.
