You added some projectile or bullet in your game

How does your game implement the theme? (If your game doesn't use the theme ignore this field)
The initial time limit for each stage is ten seconds, and grazing bullets adds ten more seconds when you meet the graze requirement.

What was the size of your team?
Just me.

Please credit the resources that you used during the jam (if you used any)
Four artists loaned me their characters (I produced the art) and I used a song from Moonwind ( http://moonwind.pw/index.html ) for the stages.

Wow, this game is so unique with its personality! It also feels amazing to play! Really feeling nice Touhou vibes with this one.
I really like the grace mechanic, but I just wish it was more obvious to the player, sort of like how it works on Touhou Luna Nights.

I just love that there is a replay option and you can see what mistakes you've done in your last run, truly a genius move (in a jam even!)

Great job!

I beat the game!

I would put distinguished animations and audio for when you die because sometimes I can't tell if I died because a bullet hit me or if time ran out.

What I find fascinating is that the game is hard, but it isn't frustrating. I feel like every time I die that it is my fault, not because the game is tedious or broken. The "Around the World" guy stage 1-4 was the most difficult of the bunch, despite that I was compelled to finish it.

I noticed you made this with Game Maker, I could tell because I got an error.

I got it after I beat the 1000 knives guy. I'm gonna guess it's because the there was no enemy that existed when you go to the next room.

Variable obj_enemy.maxlife(100003, -2147483648) not set before reading it.

Hopes that helps.

Right, no stages exists past 1-8, probably looks unprofessional to have that error pop up though ^^; Thanks for the feedback~!

Great grazing concept! However, some short tutorial to show the player how to do it and get the fill of a player hitbox, would be really great. Nonetheless, I loved the audio and visuals were satisfying. Really enjoyed playing. Good job!

The game is solid and with different characters you can choose the most fitting playstyle. Graze mechanic is really cool, haven't seen anything like that before. I also like the audio and sprites. And uhh, it's a rabbit game so additional points from me :)
What could be improved is difficulty. I had hard time beating 3rd stage and couldn't beat the 4th stage because the patterns didn't allow me to graze enough to extend time.

the bullet patterns are fun to dodge. the game has quite a lot of content too.

The game is good. The gameplay is also good, but as for the graphics, I would recommend using color palettes, both ready-made or created by you.

Developer

Palettes? What do you mean? The bullets are using a "colorize" function rather than a palette if that's what you meant.

Submitted

They mean sticking to a set of colors that are known to mesh well together and create a cohesive aesthetic.

These are generally for pixel art, but you get the idea.

Lots of creative patterns and does a good job at forcing the player to take risk and graze often to survive.

The Graze mechanic is genius!

But yeah, you need to explain it before level 1, as it isn't obvious what "Graze" means.

it's impossible to win the game with 10 seconds of life.

Developer

Are you grazing?

i didn't knowthat this was a thing, how do i do it?

i got it, but i think it could have a way to teach how to do it, and a little indicator in the player when it happens, but besides that great work!
