I think it's a good first step.
It did feel like there were too many bullets, moving too fast, while your character moved way too slow, plus, sometimes there is just nowhere to move.
but overall it has potential
The fact that you can dash into the black spots definitely made my day
Hello! ๐
Overall: โจ Great job on the submission!
Fun: ๐ The game was engaging, but some of the patterns after I died were inconsistent. For example, one enemy spammed an undodgeable amount of bullets, causing instant death, and there were lightsabers flying around the screen that were also undodgeable. Balancing these aspects would improve the player's experience.
Visual: ๐จ The visuals seemed neat, and the UI was basic but clear.
Audio: ๐ถ The player shooting sounds were very good, but the enemy sounds were too high-pitched and a bit annoying. Adding some battle music would enhance the game.
Theme: ๐ I think you had the theme of "consequences" within the upgrades, but it was not clear to me what I was getting or losing.
Other feedback: Balancing the difficulty and adding battle music would greatly enhance the overall experience.
Great job overall! ๐
I realy liked the bullet paterns. I am a weird gamer tho thats bad at dogeing using doge mechanics because I alway doge into a nother bullet so I feel that I could have enjoyed it more if i where beter.
Pretty cool bossfight, love the retro vibe!
However, you can just move off the bottom of the screen and not get hit by anything...
W game tho
I like how you used the concept of consequence, I did something similar in my game, congratulations, good game
